Best Western Heathrow Ariel Reviews

3.2 Rating 60 Reviews
Very tired and dated hotel in serious need of renovating and a good paint job. Very slow check in with errors and mistakes throughout for multiple guests. Parking (purchased as part of the deal) was absent with vehicles on the grass, blocking exits and roadways. Menu was very limited unless you want curry (loads of variations of curry). Staff poorly dressed and severely lacking in customer service. Well below the 4* claimed rating but with the location so close to LHR they probably don’t care as footfall will be large; although probably not returning customers. Alternatives are certainly available and for similar costs you can find better.

Very good overnight stay prior to erly flight the next day, especially wiyh car parking for up to 8 nights (we required 6). My wife left a bag of valuables which was found and retained. The hotel is due to return on receipt of stamped addressed envelope for which we will be very grateful.

Comfortable bed. Shower was either too hot or cold. Needs maintenance. Building was very tired looking. Inside and out. Door card system not working. Had to be let in room by hotel staff. No WiFi. Convenient for night before flight from LHR.

Tiny claustrophobic room, manager (?) unwilling to let us change. Worst Best Western room we have ever stayed in

Staff were all very helpful - room was clean ! But the room had recently been painted - but a lot of paint on the curtains and mirrors. Thread bear carpet really let it down too. Great location for terminal 2. Great meal in the bar ! Would recommend but attention to detail needed !

We have been given a single room instead of a double for which we paid. Due to a very late check in, we decided not to escalate, just wanted to get to bed. No drinking water in the rooms, broken bedside lamp, when I booked via Heathrow website, I was told the parking at the hotel is free, when I got there I have been charged, there's absolutely nothing I liked at this hotel.

The door cards weren’t working throughout the hotel so you had to be taken to your room. The in room phones weren’t working. The room was very dated with a broken window in the bathroom. There was no discount for the airport bus despite it being advertised that there was discount available if you prebook. The airport bus didn’t stop at this hotel you had to walk to a different hotel. It was also quite a way from terminal 5. I wouldn’t use this hotel again.

The hotel is very tired and dated, the rooms are very very small and cramped. We paid for a room with hotel parking for the duration of our trip, when we arrived at the hotel they were clueless to the parking part of the booking and on their system had room only as our booking, the staff reluctantly entered our car reg into their system, but told us we may still end up getting a parking ticket, even though we had paid for parking through APH. The APH website also states a hopper service is available, we was offered a service at the hotel and told it would take us to the terminal and bring us back, but the hopper service we received only took you one way to the terminal and does not offer a return service, and after some research turned out to not be the official Heathrow hopper service, it was a disappointing start to our trip not knowing how we was going to get back to our car. I would not recommend this hotel.
