Handover captain was pleasant and charming. The directions back to the meet and greet were less accurate but once found all went without a hitch. “The dropping-off and collection process took too much time. We had to wait at the unmanned desk in the car park for around 25 minutes at both steps after our phone call (in fairness, the operator told us of a 15-20 minutes delay each time). Drop off was around 8h30 am and collection 10.30 am, both on week days. This was call and wait rather than the advertised meet and greet and did not save much time against the long-stay car park option. We could see that customers from two other companies offering the same service at the same place were immediately attended to, thanks to a fully manned reception desk. Their cars were also awaiting them on their return.
MBW also appears to be the only company asking you to take pictures of your car at drop-off. The two other companies are doing this for you.
My car was not particularly clean outside when dropped, but I collected it much dirtier (mainly on the back door), with dead leaves and patches of mud and also around 10 small snails glued on it. This is likely the result of a 3-week storage against some vegetation somewhere. I never experienced this when using the long-stay car park. The company sent me a Whatsapp 2 days before our return proposing various car washing and valeting options, from £20 for basic outside cleaning. A basic cleaning should have been automatically included if their storage car park ends up adding muck on your car.
Will be using one of their competitors next time.”
