“The offer looked fair and in line with other service providers at Heathrow. The handover worked smoothly and I was impressed.
We landed on time. I followed the procedure (phone calls on landing and on clearing Customs) and all sounded to be going well. No delays or problems with the hand back were reported by Edward Lloyd.
When I got to the collection point the car was not there and there were no Edward Lloyd people around. My several calls were not answered. After waiting an hour my car was delivered with no explanation or apology for the long delay. If we could have spoken to someone / if they had told us when we called that there would be a delay, then we could have waited in the Terminal, had a coffee and felt properly treated. As it was, Edward Lloyd gave us no information and we were kept waiting in the freezing cold.
When I got into the driving seat I discovered that Edward Lloyd had disconnected my dashcam. I simply cannot think of any good reason why they would have done this and I am suspicious of the reason for doing this.
I will definitely not use Edward Lloyd again.”
