“All went well apart from return from holiday and there was a very long wait in the cold outside the airport. Once we boarded the bus, I showed the driver I was on the grey zone, he said we get off at the first stop, once we stopped, I spoke to him again and he said this was my spot, despite I could not see the grey zone. We looked for our car and came to a cabin where I spoke to someone who said grey zone is a mile away and the driver should not have dropped us off here. Frustrated that in the cold and wet weather with kids we had to walk all the way and find our car in he dark.
I would have commented that would not recommend, however I have used APH several times before at Gatwick Airport and experience was far better and on this occasion I would blame the bus driver.
But things do need improving at Luton, maybe more frequent service and improve drivers knowledge, this will reduce waiting times for the bus and driver advising wrong stop, causing unnecessary inconvenience.”
“Easy to get to the Car park, barrier recognises your car reg and let’s you through then a person tells you where to park just park up and go to the bus stop it’s as simple as that. Great that you keep your car key.”
“What a great experience !
I was very stressed and already delayed by roadworks when I arrived at the car park. On arrival, very simple and quick, you get let in by the automatic barrier which scans your number plate and off you go. After you just park in one of the bays jump onto the shuttle.
Members of staff are always about if you ever struggle or have a problem.
TIP : allow yourself even more time as the shuttle only comes every 20 mins.
Many thanks to the person who came to the rescue when I was with my baby in the carrier, my suitcase and backpack too. I manage to get my flight JUST ON TIME !”
“Simple and good service. Recommend. A very special thank you to late-night staff on November 2nd who went to extra effort to help a single female traveller.”
