“Used this long stay car park for the first time. Arrived at 03:30 and discovered you do not receive a ticket at the entrance barrier (as the website advises). Instead, your car reg is read and the barrier rises automatically. You then have to drive around and find a space - not easy as road markings and directions are not the best. But with patience you will find a space eventually. The shuttle bus from the airport enters the car park and does a loop around, stopping at numerous bus stops within the car park before it leaves to take you to the terminal. After parking your car, you find the nearest bus stop and just wait for the next shuttle bus to arrive. It’s only a short 5 min journey from car park to airport but allow time for the bus to arrive and do it’s loop run around the car park. We waited 20-25 mins for the first bus to arrive, only to discover there was no room on the single decker for all 9 passengers that were waiting at our bus stop. Only 4 were allowed on with luggage. The remaining 5 had to wait for the next bus. Thankfully it was only 5-10 mins behind, and this one had space for all 5 of us. The car park surface is a bit uneven, so you may struggle a bit with wheeled luggage; though not a great hardship. On arrival back at the airport, the shuttle bus was waiting at the terminal and quickly took us back to the car park. Thankfully, we got the last two spaces for luggage on this bus. When driving your car out of the car park, your car reg is again automatically read and the barrier rises to let you leave. No tickets needed at all. I would recommend this car park, though when judging what time to arrive, I would advise making extra allowances for the time it takes from arriving in your car to actually arriving at the terminal for your flight.”
