“We have never used airport parking prior but it was half the price of a taxi. We had vehicle recognition and it let us straight into the carpark and we dropped on with the bus in the middle of the night as only waited a few minutes. Coming home the bus stop is right outside arrivals. Had a 20 minute wait but all easy enough. We couldn't get out of the carpark along with other cars as the vehicle recognition wasn't recognising us. Pressed a button and all sorted within 15 minutes. I suppose there was alot of waiting around but if you are saving £75 it's definitely worth it and we would use it again.”
“Overgrown car park. Poor lighting. No signs where the exit was and barrier would not raise when we tried to exit. Transfer busses packed to the brim.”
“No problems for us except on trying to exit, about 12.30 am, there was a queue of cars at the barrier who were not being allowed through, and some of them were trying to exit through the barrier which the bus uses. A bus driver was waiting and just shouted for people to get out of the bus Lane which was very unhelpful. There should be better lighting there so people would see not to use that lane. We were stuck for about half an hour while people shunted about. I suspect that some of them had not realised they needed to pay for an extra day since it was just after midnight. We had done so when our turn finally came we had no problem exiting. There should be a helpline to speak to if you are stuck at the barrier.”
“Easy to park and only a short ride to the terminal. Bus stop instructions could be clearer. The bus stop in Jet Parks 2 was in complete darkness so we were not sure if it was in use, causing confusion and worry. Our return journey was much better, the bus stop was easy to find and we were back in the car park in no time at all.
Will definitely use the service again.”
