“Easy to park. The only thing I would suggest is maybe some lit up "Exit" signs. When coming back to the car at 1am, I found it difficult to find the way out. But other than that, it was great. 5 minute walk to the terminal. I'd use long stay parking again.”
“The simple use of technology could solve the issue we had.... It took us ages to find a space.. With the use of cameras and intelligent software etc APH should be able to tell you upon arrival at the barrier WHERE TO PARK. It can't be that APH couldn't afford this service upgrade surely!!!”
“For convenience to airport for a long weekend, it was fine. However we returned to find our car scratched, so not too happy about that., hence the 1 star”
“I decided to book the more expensive on-site long stay for easier access to the airport rather than faff of handing keys over and longer bus journey as we were travelling with 2 young kids (= x2 car seats, pushchair etc), luggage and surf boards. Bus stops in long stay clearly state “call for a bus” - when I did this I was categorically told buses no longer ran from long stay car park. After a lot of complaining and flagging down an attendant, a bus was sent for us (“it’ll take 20-30 mins” - took 5 mins!). On the way back I called the same number and given the same sorry stories “it’ll take 45 mins, busy day, no staff etc etc” - bus turned up within 5 mins of our request. Park here at your own risk, don’t expect it to be easy unless you have little luggage and happy to walk (no luggage trollies in car park). Tbh quite disgusted they get away with such behaviour given cost to park here.”
“The car park is really handy for the terminal. The biggest issue we found was the complete lack of signage throughout the car park for where the disabled parking was. There is no clear system to navigate it. Once we found the disabled parking it was an easy transfer to the terminal.”
“Had a problem when we arrived, the camera didn't pick up the full numberplate, I emailed and received a response very quickly which advised me on how to resolve the problem. The problem was resolved when we exited the car park. Thank you so much for your help.”
