“Long stay no longer exists so was emailed and told to go the multistorey. On arrival, the multistorey didn't recognise my number plate so we had to stop and take the contact number to ring for advice (at risk now of receiving a fine for stopping on the site). Sent to park in a hotel car park and then had to ring again to be released when we returned. Not ideal.”
“Signs in the car park were poor, didn’t know where to walk or where to go. Barriers and fences were in the way, no safe or clear walking paths to the terminal.
Spaces were too small, when I returned to my vehicle I was completely blocked in by other cars.
The conditions of the road and walkways were terrible, trying to pull a suitcase along gravel, pot holes, uneven surfaces, mud, huge puddles, was a nightmare.
Won’t be using Bristol airport again.”
“Firstly there is a premium to pay for using the APH system to book, should have realised that..duh. It cost me an additional £5 for a one night stay!
Secondly their supposed software link so that you can just drive to the barrier when leaving, put your ticket in and the ANPR recognises you have paid doesn't work and I had to spend 15 minutes waiting for some jobs worth to "check on line"..
As for "friendly Bristol Airport Parking staff" couldn't be further from the truth..short..condescending and self-important button pushers. I am afraid I had to resort to an expletive as I finally drove through the barrier having experienced their "help". Shocking experience.”
“Currently the long stay portions closest to the terminal are out of use, it means a longer walk to the terminal ... there are bus-stops but I did not see one (walked 15 minutes to terminal, same on return, no buses seen during that time). Go for multi-storey instead, used it before, much more convenient (more 5 minute walk than the 2-3 they advertise though).”
“The car park was quite a walk to the terminal, particularly as it was raining heavily and sections C and D were closed. We had to park in section B.
Added to this I think the charge for the airport parking has increased unreasonably. For this reason I would recommend people to shop around for a cheaper alternative.”
“Always been v happy. This time thou' we could not take our usual straight walk up the side of the multi storey and were sent on a long detour round heras fencing. Very dark on return at 1am! Also a lot of the roads marked exit were blocked off. We had to make 5 u turns before we found an exit that worked! We had overrun our time as plane was very late, but did eventually get out, with help, and without paying extra.
This is the only time over 10+ visits that we have had any problems”
“Fabulous parking with plenty of space right in front of the terminal it's worth the extra few pounds to park and walk straight into departures and on return no waiting for buses 2 minutes walk into your car.The only minus is just have camera recognition at the barrier instead of trying to find ones ticket, because if you've mislaid your ticket you have to phone the operator to let you out and also with it being busy you can a
Cause a queue.”
