Checking in and key collection - very efficient and pleasant staff. However, on return to airport, there were several hundred people in the queue for a bus back to the Silverzone car park which was very slow moving. With a further 2 hour journey home by car we hired a taxi to take us back to the car park costing over £22, We feel that more buses should be put on at peak times with sufficient staff to clear the resulting queue for the return of the keys.

We have used silver zone many times and would highly recommend. This time there were a lot of flights landing at the same time which meant there were horrific queues outside the terminal building spanning the whole length. This led to some fraught conversations as some people felt it was ok to just join the queue at any point they felt fit. Whilst this is not silver zones fault I think maybe they need staff to organise returning passengers waiting for the bus back to the car park. 1st class service and well organised in all other area and would highly recommend.

The actual car parking is very good and checking in and out is quick but the buses to and fro the airport are of a slower frequency

We ended up at the APD check-in at the most busy time. There were massive queues. I forgot to take note of the bay number which meant a sprint back to the car and back to the booking machine. At the booking/check in machine you need: 1. Bay number 2. Flight number, time, terminal etc etc. 3. Car registration number, colour etc etc. It was a nightmare. I was in a rush to avoid missing our flight and to make matters worse above details. Imagine trying to find your flight and it doesn't show up on APD screen. Absolute nightmare!! Check in process can and should be improved. Please take some advice from your Gatwick office. Bristol is a nightmare. Upon return, my car was not ready to collect because the member of staff who helped me to check-in choose the wrong flight I.e., evening flight instead of morning 9am. We/kids had to wait another half hour until our car was ready to collect. Overall experience: Painful
