“Staff were unhelpful upon arrival to the car park, too busy wandering around rather than directing those arriving and those departing, causing traffic. I was prompted to park in a tight spot and report to a dirty portacabin to drop off my keys. I’m not sure what is valet parking about that! On my return home I followed the instruction to call the car park after disembarking the plane, however couldn’t get through after 7 attempts. I was faced with a queue of other annoyed customers at the car park who had all experienced the same issue and we’re now left stood out in heavy rain. When handed my keys I found my car exactly where I’d left it in the tight parking spot. The same issue on arrival happened on departure - a jam of cars trying to leave and enter the car park. The exit wasn’t clearly signposted and the only staff member available to ask for help kept prompting me to park up as if I’d just arrived. I only went with valet parking as it was the cheapest option at the time, but I won’t be doing so again. I don’t understand how they can call it valet parking.”
“Drop off was fine, but when we landed and cleared security nobody was answering the phones. Eventually I had to walk to the valet reception (through driving rain) to find out whether my car was ready. Half a dozen others had evidently had to do the same, and the process wasn’t efficient or organised to say the least. I then walked back to the terminal to collect my family and luggage, and back out to the car to leave. Not what I was expecting when I booked.
Next time I’ll just park in one of the long stay car parks on site, which are actually just as close as the valet parking.”
“Dropping off the car was a bit hectic as there wasn't enough spaces. Told to leave it anywhere as long as it doesn't block any access in, out, or any other cars. Pick up was quick and easy.”
“I don't feel that the parking is very organised, I didn't know whereabouts I should park when I entered the valet parking area and after leaving my keys there didn't seem to be a dedicated exit for pedestrians or a crossing to get to the terminal building. On return I rang twenty times to inform them I was coming to collect the car, but gave up and just made my way back to the parking area”
