Birmingham Airport Car Park 2 & 3 Reviews

4.2 Rating 185 Reviews
Despite having pre-booked car parking 2, when we arrived we weren't able to enter. calling the help button, no one answered. drove around and found a parking attendant who told us car parks 2 & 3 were both full and go to car park 1. drove to car park 1, spoke with parking attendants there who told us they would honour the prepaid parking before driving around for half an hour looking for a vacant spot. upon return, phoned up helpdesk where they duly let us out. bit of a hassle but worked out at the end

It’s a good service. The number plate recognition system could be made to function as it says. For all my bookings I have had to wait at the gate to press the call button and speak to someone before driving into the car park. While we’re told the car number plate would be recognised on approach. The delay could affect the flight considering it would take time to clear through security on a busy day. Thanks And Kind Regards

Booking worked well....ticket produced on entry. Not many spaces free but parked ok. Signs back to car park and to pedestrian entrance were poor. Pleasantly suprised that barrier opened on exit (based on other reviews)

Easy access to airport. Parking spaces small, some floors the light weren’t even on so made locating a parking space difficult. Could do we an upgrade on knowing which floors had spaces.

ANPR didn’t recognise car so we had to wait to be let out the car park a 4am. Price is ridiculously expensive but location to airport is good.

Reasonably priced for a car park only a 5 minute walk to terminal building. All clearly signposted, ticket given in entry and ANPR recognised on exit. Plenty of spaces and would recommend to friends and family.

There seems to be a problem with the automatic number plate recognition which is a shame. Everything else is fine but I have to say that the price increases this year are far too high. I do appreciate that the car parking facilities have lost considerable revenue since March 2020 but hopefully, by next year you will be able to reduce the cost otherwise I will have to consider an alternative way of getting to the airport.
