Barriers didn't recognise numberplate in or out despite having a booking.

OK, but signage, ie directions poor especially after a long flight trying to find car park 3 in the rain, the lady on duty was very helpful and with her help we got back to the car, not cheap either.

As usual ticket system doesn’t work , machine demands extortionate amounts before you can exit so always you need to phone through and give car details etc. not good enough .

Car Park 3 had to be used as new technology being installed at Car Park 2 barrier. Inserted the ticket at departure but still had to call the control to get exit barrier raised.

Car park 2 and 3 are very close to the terminal, only a short walk. Buying with APH was easy and straightforward. The only not so positive experience was when arriving at the airport our number plate wasnt recognised and when we called the attendant, he seemed to ignore us half way and hang up. So we had to call him and give all the details twice while waiting on the gate.

Very frustrating that the process wasn't as smooth as it should be. Numberplate recognition didn't work for us or the cars around us so a bit slow getting in (and out). But easy to find - good directions. Shame it took ages to find a trolley (but that's not a parking problem!!)

Close to the airport and easy to find, just what’s needed at an airport

The car parking facilities were very good. The only point to be raised was the difficulty in gaining access after making the online booking. The scanning system didn’t appear to function correctly which caused some anxiety until the operator checked our details and manually raised the entry barrier. Upon attempting to exit the same problem occurred and again the operator had to check our details and manually raise the exit Barrier. We entered and exited the car park at a reasonably quiet time; however, had it been busy the scanner/reader problem would have caused congestion with vehicles backing up onto the main thoroughfare. It should be noted that the human intervention was done in a timely manner. Thank you.
