“Went for off-site parking this time as our flight times were middle of the day. Wished we hadn't in the end as we only saved about £30 and we got soaked waiting for the transfer bus. Only a tiny covered area at the airport and a huge queue. Bus took a long time to come and I doubted we would all get on, but somehow we did. The car park itself was very rough and covered with full-of-water pot-holes. Car parking spaces are small and difficult to get into. Staff were friendly and helpful, but next time I think I will use on-site.”
“The location is poor for those travelling from the North - we came from Nottinghamshire and it's very hard to find. The previous location at Hams Hall was much better.
Could do with the buses running a bit more frequently as we had to stand 15 mins in the pouring rain to wait for one and not everyone could get on at that.”
“Good experience overall, decent transfer time and good that we were able to keep our keys. The only downside was that we found the parking attendant to be quite rude however.”
“Would have been nice to be advised that Hamms Hall is not an option as this is the right side of the airport for us. However, the directions to the airpark site used the same junction off the M42. I imagine it might take longer at commuter times.”
