APH Birmingham Self Park Reviews

4.5 Rating 3,066 Reviews
The staff are absolutely superb. I am a disabled pensioner solo traveller, and they could not have been more helpful both on the outward and (especially) return journeys. This was not the first time they have gone above and beyond to help me either, so I can thoroughly recommend APH.

We waited in freezing temperatures for over 40 minutes, when the busses are supposed to run every 25 minutes. When trying to call to check the status, the phone just rang out and after a minute or so just cut off with the message 'no one is available to take your call'. This happened to all the passengers at the stop who tried to contact the company so was not an isolated incident. When the bus finally arrived, there was no apology or explanation as to why the wait was for so long. We won't be using this outfit again.

Easy to find the carpark, got checked in quickly given a ticket then parked the car, kept the keys & got on the bus to airport. Quick & easy....only negative was the carpark area for self parking was very uneven & had pot holes.

The car park is gravel and the cars are very close together. The transfer bus was uncomfortably packed on the way to the airport especially as there are few seats and the journey must go around a dozen islands on the way up the airport. The buses do run regularly and, to be fair, the journey back to the car park at 9.30am was much better. There are toilets on the car park site. You NEED TO KEEP YOUR TICKET that you get on arrival as it opens the barrier to let you out when you get back. Overall, good value for money.

Upon arriving at the parking facility at 6-30am, we found 3 queues of traffic with very little organisation, especially as some people were self parking and others were leaving keys to have their cars parked for them. There should be more signage and maybe separate queues, which would help with the flow at busy times. Once out of the queue it was quite easy to find a parking space and then wait for the bus to the airport. Upon arriving home the bus driver was very helpful assisting with cases, and he even took the time to explain the exit procedures from the car park. With a little bit more organisation it would be less stressful when arriving.

Had to wait too long for transfer buses . No assistance at all on return bus and if you choose to park the vehicle yourself you have to walk with your bags back to the bus stop for transfer. Check in was also a long wait
