“The entire experience from arrival to collection and departure was extremely inefficuent to the point of being not merely irritating but annoying.
Needing to check in manually at the entrance barrier, not simply to confirm name, but to go through an entire administrative process which included you member of staff hand writing out a ticket, the details of which were then changed by your escourt and cinseauently were diffrrent from what the system indicated on return, felt like a step into the archaic past.
The bus trip to the airport and return was prompt and the driver exceptionall helpful. It seems as though it is company policy that tbe driver stack all of the cases and retrieve them at the end of the journey. Though a laudable customer service, thi iin my view is both unfair / unsafe for the driver, and slows the whole process down.
When getting on the bus tickets were checked to ensure no-one was on the wrong bus, but then had to be scanned. With a full bus, this again was time comsuming and served no obvious purpose.
The car park was very dark with little lighting and very poor exit signage in what is a maze. At the gate i handed my ticket in, it again needed scanning, again adding to the time it took for the whole process.
On return, and because it was night, everyone was asked to press their car key fob to try and locate their car via it's flashing lights. We all found this quite commical, but at the same timd alarming, no pun intended. As the bar code on the ticket did not match the actual zone the car was in, and because of the way in which the maze of roadways; there wasn't always a through route and the dri er needed to reverseback up some of the access roads; it was a nervy time, concerned about locating my car.
The diver was great and should be commended for his patience and good humour.
I have used Mackadown Road many times in the past, receiving a faultless service.
I don't know why the on-line booking automatically placed me at this car park. I don't want it to do so again.”
“easy to find - despite roadworks on motorway on early morning we travelled. like the idea of the car lit up 'follow me' directing us to a free space in the carpark - much easier when it's dark. return journey was a bit less impressive as driver didn't give any indication whether he was going to travel further than zone 2/5 when we needed 6/7 and when asked, reversed the bus nearer. all in all, a good experience - happy to recommend.”
“Arrived and was lead to a space. Parked and got the bus. 10 minutes all in. Landed and pretty much the same in reverse. The bus driver was very helpful in finding our car in the dark. Used APH before and will definitely use them again”
