“Thought I had left things too late to find a remote that my dad could operate successfully but took a chance on this one and it is working well. He has said 'But it is so simple' to me several times now! No more phone calls telling me the TV has gone wrong. Very easy to install with an LG TV. Did not need to use the codes, paired instantly. Highly recommended.”

“I am still deciding whether to return it. Unable to set up. Have used every code for relevant TV and non match. Tried to do a code search. It turned TV off but does not find a code to turn back on. Support not very useful as have to email. It would be helpful to speak to someone or use live chat. Will try again but if not successful will be returning it.”

We're sorry to hear that our customer is having problems completing set-up for the Flipper remote. We are currently providing technical support to help get this working and have made progress. The majority of our customers get the Flipper working without issue, however, for some customers/setups programming can take longer and we're happy to provide expert technical support via email. “My dad has mid-stage vascular dementia and severe visual impairment. His existing remote became impossible for him to use, so this seemed to be an ideal replacement. It was very simple to pair the remote (he only has Freeview) and he's found it very easy to use. No more panic-stricken calls to me because he can't get the TV to work!”

“Sadly the product does not work with Sky Q which operates via bluetooth not infra-red remote. AlzProducts have been good to their word and offered a full refund for the product but I do feel that this could be made clearer: it lists Sky as compatible. In order to get maximum use out of Sky, the user still really needs to be able to browse through the guide so an up/down/left/right/OK button combo would be helpful. This might be too much for general design of this remote which has, I feel, been designed for older style systems.”
