“I bought this for my 82 year old mother who has moderate Alzheimer's. I had to buy her a new tv and the remote control was too complicated. She was going to the neighbours repeatedly asking them to 'fix' the tv. Setting it up was easy and the instructions were clear and helpful. It has a clear on and off button. She wondered why the channel change buttons pointed across rather than up and down. Fair point. She has got use to it quickly and is not troubling the neighbours. It's a good product and I am happy to have bought it.”

“Easy to use. Favourites feature great but would be helpful to have some way of verbalising selected channel - else difficult for blind person to know which channel they are on. Written instructions not the best, but Tom was very helpful setting it up for my dad's machines.”

“Flipper tv remote control, does what the ad says, but could do with a better instruction sheet separating completely tv and stb instructions. I found that reverting to the original tv controller for other functions, usb & dvd, necessitated reprogramming of the Flipper, I have now locked the Flipper to see whether it will stop this effect. It would be useful to have an additional button for subtitles, an important facility for older people. David Delo”

“I bought this for my 95 year old Dad, who has very poor sight resulting from a brain haemorrhage a couple of months ago. He absolutely loves it and it's given him his independence back, which is so important to him. He can pick the channels he wants to watch now, without getting in a pickle and ending up very frustrated. It was really easy to set up too - thank you!”

“I purchased the Flipper remote control for my mother as she was having great difficulty with her SkyQ remote. I would like to thank Tom for all his help while I was trying to programme the new remote and the time he spent explaining the issues with the SkyQ box. I am very pleased to report that all is working well and my brother no longer has calls every day asking him how to get the TV to work!”
