“Failed to port my existing number and asked for£20.00 to try again. OFCOM states it is a legal requirement. Using their services I was able to raise a complaint which they investigated. My internet provider, Plusnet, had difficulty contacting BTOpenreach who came across as indifferent. What I was doing was what I had expected Xinix to do as my porting representative. I spent a lot of time pursuing this and eventually contacted my MP. My number has now finally been retrieved.”

This is a rare case where we were able to port a number that was ceased by its previous provider before the order was placed with us. We appreciate the stress this has caused you and apologise for any shortages on our side. I understand you have spoken to our Customer Success Team Manager Danielle Blissett this morning where you expressed your view that we did all we could for you, given the circumstances. “The Service I have received from the entire tean following my change to Xinix has been fantastic. We had a small issue over the hardware I needed but this was all sorted before the actual transfer took place. I set the hardware up and I had a small issue with getting it to work and this was brilliantly sorted by Uzair including phoning back after it was all resolved just to make sure all was well. Thank you again to the entire team and I will be recommending you to all my friends and collegues.”

“Excellent customer service. I did a free trial first, before porting my number and am glad I did. There were a few hiccoughs, I think largely due to an old FTTP box, which BT have still to update, but the team were all really helpful and Uzair sorted out the technical issues I had connecting my handset and getting everything working, and helped me getting my webphone working. Thank you. I am just waiting now for my number to port, and will be recommending this service as long as all goes well then”
