“Pics are of my Zodiac Aquaqmarine Dream on the hydroRib Pegasus strap and Octopod buckle. I am very pleased with the buckle and strap and how it looks on this watch and a couple of others I have. I find the HydraRib straps quite easy to fit to the buckle. Along with this strap I also bought the Oxford leather strap for use with the Octopod buckle, This strap I found quite difficult to fit to the buckle. The strap by the time I had attached it to the buckle had been quite marked up and frayed on the underside. I don't mind this aged look but sure others wouldn't with a nearly brand new strap. The strap I found also strerches quite badly and doesn't hold it's shape like the HydraRib straps do. I haven't got any photos of this strap on a watch as at this time I only have one buckle and frankle couldn't be bothered with the faff of fitting the leather one again. I believe with time attaching the leather strap would get harder rather than easier due to the strap deterioating. I would liken it to trying to lace a big boot with laces that have lost their aglets. I seem quite down on this strap but overall I would say I am pleased with my Octopod setup and will purchase more HydraRib straps and perhaps an elastic one too.”
