Sorry to hear that Brendan. Although I have to say that's a little harsh on us: 1) you saw the shipping costs before completing checkout and so agreed to that amount. It wasn't hidden. 2) shipping costs are way out of our control - we make no profit on them and simply price them the same as our costs from the courier

Sorry about that Phil, you're right - the express payment methods bypass the standard checkout so this doesn't work with discounts. We're removing those from the cart now to solve the problem. I see you went through checkout and so the discount was applied eventually, but sorry that happened.
