Ordering experience very straight forward - but prompt to get a review to get express delivery is poor when in fact the product isnt in stock - and you only find out after emailing about where your not express delivery is

Slow with orders. 3 now have been very slow. Annoyed I have paid more recently for Shelly switches to find out a weekend sale would have saved me huge amounts.

Shipping leaves a lot to be desired. Second time I've been asked to rate Vesternet to get free upgraded shipping. Second time I've had to chase them several days later because my item hasn't arrived.

Hi David, sorry to ready this. I checked our logs and see you called, but were advised we don't give technical advice by phone due to the reasons at https://help.vesternet.com/en-US/phone-support-66426 I can't see any live chat logs I'm afraid. For the email, yes this was received and is just in a tech support queue - apologies about the delay on that, its a very busy day and wouldn't normally take so long.

poor checkout experience. vesternet tried to get me to buy a book after I had paid for my order. quite sneaky. not sure if I'll get my order now

Hi Patrick, We always take on board constructive feedback, but our checkout experience is flawless. I believe you're saying its poor because of the post-purchase offer you mention? I'm confused about what's sneaky about that, you paid for your order and got a success confirmation. Then you were offered an optional discounted product (which you accepted but didn't pay for). Why would that make you think you won't get your order now?

I don't like that you force me to use a specific currency. I would like to be able to choose the currency myself

Hi Yuval, Sorry to hear this. You can easily choose any currency from the bottom left corner of the site (it just defaults to your local currency but it can easily be changed). The Capcha is only when logging in and you don't need to do that to checkout - but if you saw it elsewhere please just let us know and we'll check (sales@vesternet.com)

Payment stalled during checkout but I got email confirmation so I guess it worked. Not inspiring confidence.

I bought two Z-wave sockets, one worked, one didn't. I used Vesternet's RMA process to return the faulty one, expecting it to be similar or better than Amazon's process. The process was very impersonal, expecting you to send back the faulty device at your cost & risk, with it being replaced only after they had accepted it. Had the device replaced, but no offer to refund the postage to return the faulty device, and no apology or remorse about supplying faulty goods. Not what I was expecting when the CEO boasts about deciding to "focus 100% on customer service & user experience". Won't be using again.

So this Smart home stuff is not quite as simple as it looks. The service from Vesternet is excellent particularly the pre and post sale support from Mark.

My order was well within time for next day delivery Guaranteed.. However it did not arrive next day, I rang and complained and was today i would get it the following day, after taking another day off work, the items still did not arrive. Again I got in contact as i received an email from them saying it has now been dispatched, and Vesternet had the cheek to blame the courier and say they bump parcels on a day, a lot this time of year. when in fact it had only just been dispatched from Vesternet.
