I was asked to submit this review to get a "FREE Upgrade to Priority Shipping". I think it's bad enough that they're offering incentives for positive reviews, but I also never got the upgrade which is doubly scummy. Either way, please take all the positive reviews here with a pich of salt, maybe knock a star or two off when comparing with other vendors.

New customer. Placed order (great, super easy). Received email soliciting review in return for *free priority shipping*. Left 5 star review (the process of actually placing an order was indeed 5 stars). 2 days later my order still hasn't shipped. Apparently the online chat "typically replies in a few hours". Hmm... Not so great after all.

My experiences with Vesternetuk have been incredibly frustrating, Unfortunately, I've had two separate instances with their services that have left me feeling dissatisfied. Firstly, I placed an order for controllers on their website, opting for next-day delivery due to urgent requirements. Despite placing the order well before their stated dispatch cutoff time, I received an email stating that my order couldn't be processed due to "large delivery volume." This was particularly disappointing as it was a Friday, meaning I would have to wait an extended period for the order to be shipped. Second time, I purchased an item from their eBay store. I paid extra for DPD next-day delivery, only to find that the item was shipped via Royal Mail Tracked 48. This was a service that wasn't even listed as an option during the checkout process and Customer service has been unresponsive and ignores messages. These two instances have significantly impacted my trust in Vesternetuk's reliability and customer service.

Great products, but nowhere near enough information on the website, and no possibility of a short phone conversation to check the spec. For example, the zigbee relays don't give the rated voltage and current of the contacts, bulbs don't have dimensions - will they fit in my small wall fittings? Links are given to the user manual, but they just link to a list of manufacturers, and they link to the manufacturer's website, not even to the correct manual - just deep link to the manual for this product and I'll know I'm not making a mistake.

Editing this review as they sent me an email to review them to get free upgraded shipping. I did that well within the time they specified and it has been sent out at the normal speed so looks like a con to me to get good reviews. Backfired here though.

Great offer but you should ignore the email that asks you to complete a review to get an upgrade on delivery. Vesternet ignore the email and therefore misleads you with no action!!!!

Unable to contact customer services for an update on my delivery which was supposed to be ‘next day’. Tried calling and there was no answer on the online chat either.

Sorry about this Clint but the order wasn't in stock when you ordered - it will ship next day when it arrives (any day now) and we've also refunded your shipping cost.

Sorry to hear that Michael - we've had no errors reported and your order came through fine. Although it's strange you say this because your review was posted from the checkout completion page so did you not see it finalise?

Quick and easy. Spoke to soon. Don’t order anything from this company if you want the goods quickly. Stock indicators on the website are not true. Also the promise of better delivery for a review is not true.

Initially left a good review after I received the email saying that a free upgrade to delivery would be given. Item that I'd ordered was listed as in stock. Expecting the item next day or at least within a couple of days. A few days passed and item still hadn't been sent. Had to get in contact and turned out actually the item was never in stock. So basically they'd got my good review by promising a free upgrade to delivery on an item that they'd said was in stock but never was. Will avoid in future.

First time order: Item showing on stock - Ordered. Order Confirmed. Within an hour received email: item not in stock and can't tell when back in stock. Sorry Vesternet this is not good enough - Ordered via Amazon, should have done so in the first place. FE In response to Vesternet's accusation that my review violates Trustpilot's guidelines: On 09/09/2020 I did another search on Vesternet's website and the device was showing as being in stock. Emailed screen shot to David Bell at Vesternet. His reply, I quote: "That's either a cached version or it's referencing a version of the device which a user has customised." Hm... I am happy to share my Vesternet email communications with a TrustPilot representative.
