“I took my very first policy out with Vavista. I was happy with the deposit and monthly payments, came up one of the cheapest insurance companies with what they had to offer. I love how they included protection against vandalism and non insured drivers. I did check the reviews before I purchased my policy and there were the odd few people who was unhappy when it came to cancellation but hopefully I won’t have to worry about this.

“I am writing to share my experience with Vavista regarding the cancellation of my car insurance policy. Unfortunately, my experience has been frustrating due to incorrect charges and a lack of resolution despite multiple communications.
I was charged £53.69 by Vavista, attributed to Premium Credit Limited, even though I received confirmation of a £48.13 refund from them. Despite providing evidence of this refund, the discrepancy has not been addressed in the final amount claimed by Vavista.
I hope Vavista will take this feedback seriously and improve their customer service and billing practices in the future”

“This company are thieves in my opinion. I cancelled my policy and rather than just charge my cancellation fee they wish to charge me over 400 pounds equal to more than 4 months' insurance, despite up to date payments and the credit company saying no money owed. They send extremely threatening emails, contradicting themselves and trying to justify the costs even though the credit agreement company confirmed no money was owed. They send correspondence at 4 a.m in the morning! Please believe the negative reviews here.
The lady Michelle Naidoo who dealt with my complaint is unable to understand simple logic. Later correspondence quoted a different sum for money owed, which remains unfair and illogical. They continue to harass me for over 250 pounds threatening to refer me to credit collection.
I have now referred the matter to the Ombudsman. Avoid them at all costs.”
