“The products were good, but I encountered poor service. First, the roof bars I ordered online and picked up at the depot hadn't been altered to my vehicle's specifics. Out came the hacksaw. I was very pleased when TVA agreed to replace a small plastic cover that I had lost, but it took a week to arrive using 2nd Class Special Delivery. A customer service miss.”

“After calling them and discussing the product I ordered side steps for my LR Discovery 4, they arrived a few days later. Sadly, the side steps they sent me where "pre-owned", had fitting marks on them, some dirt and rust starting on the screws underneath. I reported back to them and they acted very quickly to offer collection with full refund or replace with new. On this occasion, having seen first hand the unconventional fitting system of these side steps, which isn't apparent on the advert, I decided to just return for full refund. A good company with great service, I think I was probably unlucky in how they sent me previously returned goods that hadn't been inspected properly?”

“The parcel was left up my entry - there was a lot of scratches on roof cross bars looked like it had been fitted then taken off and sent back and there was two end brackets missing pretty poor show from a so called large organisation , comments on this with pictures were sent to yourselfs but amazingly I had no reply’s or responses . There you go !!!”

“Trade Van Accessories as a company no problem at all. But the brackets on my side steps are far too weak and i would not trust them to hold even half the advertised weight. On reflection I would not have purchased these side steps and looked for a more quality part.”

“The product arrived in the time given and was well packaged, and the items themself are good quality. The issue I found was I could not fit it to my vehicle with the fixings provided. The holes in the roof bar also did not line up with the fixtures on the van, so I needed to make the holes bigger. I also purchased 50mm M6 screws and spacers as being able to see the bolt underneath to line it up made things easier. Happy now it’s on and looks great but I do think others may struggle to make it work for them.”

“Unfortunately not the best experience, parcel left out on the drive in the rain, items missing, missing items sent out and still bits missing. Communication was the saving grace, however the wrong size bars were sent and I was only offered a £10 refund and I had to cut them down myself to get them to fit. All sorted in the end but it was a bit of a mission to get there.”

“Whilst all the components supplied by TVA seem to be of good quality (roof rails and cross bars), these components do not appear to fit together snugly on the roof of my Mercedes Vito van. It looks like I may have to cut some of the plastic away from the clamps on the crossbars, to enable them to fit securely onto the roof rails.”

“Side steps brackets are very difficult to install and the van needs to be on commercial garage ramps for access so not a DIY job. Also, the front brackets are set too far back so the front 50cm of the steps is totally unsupported which renders the steps useless for assisting the driver or front passenger to get into the cab as it flexes too much under the weight. Verdict: Decorative accessory but not practical as a functional step, which was the prime reason for purchase.”

“T6 flush roof rails: Arrived with slight damage to one end, not constant with shipping as the packaging was undamaged, but not enough damage to send back. It is recommended to apply silicone before fitting, however I used "p" shape draft excluder which allows the gap between a slight curve in the roof and the rails to be taken up.”

“Transit Custom Sport Octane V2 Running Boards.Delivery was ok and the Boards seem good but I have only given it 3 stars because the fitting instruction are very poor for the sport model. I had to adjust where the front and middle fixings went as they don't go low enough to allow the boards to go under the sill trim on the sport model if fitted as indecated in the instructions I would prefere if the front fixing went further to the front end of the running board on the right side for more support when stood on”

“Easy ordering and delivery (although delivery is a bit pricy). Ordered some Atlas V1 roof bars but one of them was incorrect length. Contacted TVA and advice was to either cut to length myself or send it back for replacement. Decided to cut it myself for expediency, luckily it went ok but would have preferred not to have to. Roof bars themselves are good though, nice aero profile, non whilst even without rubber insert.”

“Ordered vehicle specific roof bars to only try and fit them and they don’t fit my car. On TVA side, they promptly accepted the return and refunded after items arrived back”

“Unfortunately the bolts for the fix points were wrong size, had to faff about at b and q for replacements. Next day delivery, couldn't anticipate any delivery times though so had wait all day.”

“Product was very good and as described. However communication with regards to dispatch and delivery was very poor. The product that I had ordered had been delivered to the wrong address by the courier 6 days prior to me contacting you as I had no idea the order had even been dispatched let alone delivered. I then had to chase around the houses to try and locate said package. Overall your communication could certainly be improved.”

“Flimsy poor fitting roof rails, plastic packers look like a poor after thought. Roof bars decent, but cut down 20mm too long. Decent friendly people but prep and packaging rushed even though I was more than happy to wait.”

“First time that I’ve used trade van supplies and the speedy delivery and good communication is 5 stars, however… the running boards I brought for my Tiguan (boards were the raptor model) look ok now I have them fitted but the fitting instructions were absolutely useless, worst I’ve ever tried to understand and I’ve put together a lot of random things before, no wording, just one A4 sheet with blurry photos and the brackets would not fit properly, I ended up modding and bending them to make them fit but the whole process could of been so much less stressful. Shame really as I believ this is a good company. Ps the one video I found on YouTube doesn’t use the same brackets as the ones provided so again, no use at all.”
