Very prompt customer service. However, the storage rack is rickety and sways a lot. A safety hazard. Buyer beware!

Thanks for your review Gianni. The nature of our budget bays is that in order to be able to sell them at £31.66 per bay in the three bay deal that you bought they have to contain less raw material than a more expensive bay. They contain steel, chipboard and plastic, all of which have gone hugely up in price since Covid, and they are packaged in a heavy duty cardboard box to enable them to be sent through the UK carrier network. As I've mentioned in earlier review replies, we've sold literally thousands of these bays to a huge range of both business customers and consumers. They are categorically not a bad product or bad quality as you suggest. They fill a space in the market for people who need shelving on a budget. If you feel that you want something heavier duty I'm afraid you need to be prepared to pay for it, rather than buy the cheapest on the market and expect them to be the same as the most expensive. By all means, if you'd like to give us a call to discuss other options we pride ourselves on our customer service and will always strive to avoid a bad experience for our customers.

When assembled would not stand unsupported and therefore unsafe. Required to be fixed to the garage wall. Built quality merits 2 stars only

Thanks for your review. We've sold serious volumes of these bays of shelving to both businesses and consumers, and with very little feedback. Most of our positive feedback in fact has come from people who've purchased our budget ranges, and most reviews that we receive are glowing, both about the product and the service. The bays are definitely not unsafe as you've stated, and are specifically designed to be free-standing, as long as the floor on which they are placed is completely level.

Good service and speedy delivery but the product didn’t meet weight-bearing description of 300kg, the board buckled and metal supports twisted so we can’t use it for intended purpose.

Thanks for your review, and we're really glad that the service lived up to expectations and delivery was speedy. The product that you bought is tested to 330kg at TUV in Europe, one of the leading testing houses in the world. The 300kg advertised is for a universally distributed load (UDL) per shelf. UDL is a load spread across the whole shelf, NOT a point load, and it sounds like the shelf must have been overloaded at a particular point in order for the board to buckle and steel supports to twist. Thanks for your review regardless, as it gives us the opportunity to further explain the importance of loading your shelf correctly, as per the instructions contained within the box.
