“Good service and speedy delivery but the product didn’t meet weight-bearing description of 300kg, the board buckled and metal supports twisted so we can’t use it for intended purpose.”

Thanks for your review, and we're really glad that the service lived up to expectations and delivery was speedy. The product that you bought is tested to 330kg at TUV in Europe, one of the leading testing houses in the world. The 300kg advertised is for a universally distributed load (UDL) per shelf. UDL is a load spread across the whole shelf, NOT a point load, and it sounds like the shelf must have been overloaded at a particular point in order for the board to buckle and steel supports to twist. Thanks for your review regardless, as it gives us the opportunity to further explain the importance of loading your shelf correctly, as per the instructions contained within the box.

“What I bought is money worthy and I am satisfied on that but the price which was showing is actually before tax which looks very cheap price at first site when I saw and become surprised. And also shipping charge applies on it which makes big difference of figure at checkout Will be better if try to show actual price when putting ad. I could have turned after seeing this but didn't .”

“I looked around at other shelving on other sites, but the quality and reviews weren't that great. You get what you pay for. The service was great from Trade Price Deals I got a fast delivery. They are very sturdy and well-built. If I ever need to buy anymore I wouldn't hesitate in buying some more from them.”

All of our budget shelving products are rigorously tested at https://www.tuv.com/world/en/#, one of the leading testing labs in the world across all industries. The shelves that you bought are actually tested to 300KG UDL (uniformly distributed load)! We offer all levels of shelving, the 200KG being the entry-level and what we consider extremely good value at £48 inc. VAT, but if you felt you may need something more substantial it may have been an idea to spend a little more - it's limited how much physical raw material you can get into a £48 product after all!

“The racking arrived a day early, so it has not been opened as yet. One of the packages is badly battered but we are hoping that it is just the packaging which is damaged. We plan to erect next week, but i am away until 15 December. I would like to add that the Mail delivery driver was exceptionally helpful and considerate. A delight to deal with nothing was too much trouble. If only all drivers were as helpful”

“It could not have been better. I had ordered an inappropriate item by mistake - my fault. When I realised I contacted the company, the order was cancelled immediatley with no quibble. I was then given very helpful advice, managed to order a suitable item and this was delivered very promptly.”
