“The order was for a replacement plug for a Fujitsu scanner. When it arrived it was just the block with no adapter to configure it to a UK socket or any other adapter and so was totally unusable. it should have been a simple fix but was more hassle tahn it was worth so ended up returning it”

The accessory is listed as an AC adapter. AC adapters act as AC/DC converters, transforming the AC power from your wall outlet into the DC power that your devices (like laptops, smartphones, etc.) require to operate or charge their batteries. This is not a stand alone power supply accessory and is not listed as one. For the accessory to work in accordance with the manufacturers guidelines it needs to be paired with a Fujitsu Plug Adapter UK (Single) SKU: PA03708-K991. This was explained to the customer and a full refund was given.

“Don't use. They don't answer the phone and don't respond. They failed to answer phone calls and used an agency. They did not respond to three pre-sale calls, four post-sale calls, and emails. They only reacted once formal notes were left on the feedback screen. They failed to comply with next-day delivery and failed to respond to urgent calls worrying about the delivery. We were only refunded our money after serving a seven-day pre-legal action letter—one failure after another.”

Customer purchased a scanner from our website on the 06.03.2025. This was shipped with DPD for a delivery on the 07.03.2025. Customer changed the delivery address with DPD online to a ParcelShop not the delivery address we used on his order. DPD customer services confirm the DPD delivery driver tried to deliver the order however the ParcelShop was closed. The order was delivered to the ParcelShop on the next working day. Customer refused to collect the order and requested a full refund. We are in possession of photographs from DPD to prove the ParcelShop was closed at the time of delivery hence why it was re-delivered the next working day. As per our company terms and conditions we must wait for the order which was not collected from the ParcelShop to be returned to sender and back to our warehouse only then can we refund the customer. The order was returned to our warehouse and we are now in a position to give the customer a full refund. Please note we are in possession of the returned goods therefore the customer will not retain the item. We have refunded in full. If you are a potential customer of The Scanner Shop please do not be put off by this review. Google Dr. Alan Blacker first then formulate your own opinion.

“The shop called me in response to an enquiry I submitted. They were super helpful and able to point me in the direction of the right scanner for my needs, which I doubt I would have found without them. They were not at all pushy and answered all my questions. I ordered the item later online (an overhead scanner) and it arrived promptly. I am very satisfied with my purchase.”

“The website stated "In Stock - Next day dispatch" in one section, and then "3 -7 days delivery". When I ordered, no one mentioned that it would need to be ordered specifically from Denmark. So when I chased up after 4 days, I was told that it would be 12 days before being delivered. This is after having paid £100 for delivery. Ordered 29th November, delivered 17th December.”

Hello John, Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately on this occasion there wasn't any stock available in the UK, of the scanner you ordered. Both Contex and Colortrac large format scanners are manufactured in Denmark. For this reason the order took a little longer to process and deliver. We appreciate your review and will amend the delivery times stated for all large format scanners. Many of our large format scanner orders are bespoke configurations and do take longer to process. All of the above plus busier courier services in the run-up to Christmas contributed to a longer shipping time. Our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience caused.
