Never received my order due to them using yodel as the carrier. My parcel was never attempted to be delivered and sat at yodel local depot for days. Due to this The Independent Pharmacy has issued me a full refund. I won’t use this company again unless they change who they use to deliver items as yodel has to be the worst delivery service out there.

Thank you for your review, We like to hear from all of our patients as this helps us improve our service As you have likely seen across the media, there is a significant strain on the national distribution network due to a number of reasons, including ongoing industrial action being undertaken by members of the Communication Workers Union within Royal Mail. This ongoing action and resulting network disruption, combined with the increased volume of parcels typically seen in December due to the festivities has led us to explore the use of alternative carriers to ensure all of our patients medications are delivered promptly. Whilst it is regrettable that your parcel was not delivered as promptly as we would have liked, our support team were quickly able to resolve this with you and direct your parcel back to our premises. To help any further reoccurrence of this matter, your account was noted so that any future parcels were not to be sent using Yodel as the courier Your feedback has been provided to our account manager whilst we continue to review the delivery services that we offer and we will only consider using nationally known, reliable couriers who will successfully and consistently deliver.

I've put my trust in in the independent pharmacy since covid till now. They are thorough and so convent when I couldn't get out. I had the prescription before ftom my GP and gave his details and what meds I was on. The prescription was speedy delivered to me. Thank you for a great service

Ordered from here because getting through to my GP is sadly next to impossible these days! I chose the product I needed then my request was was reviewed and some guidance was sent to me via email. My prescription arrived promptly.

I am sorry to hear that you are yet to receive your parcel and for any inconvenience caused, this is the first that we have heard of this and I am keen to help ensure that you recieve your parcel quickly. After checking the tracking information for your parcel, I can see that the parcel was delivered successfully on the 5th October 2023, the next working day that your order was placed. However as this does not appear to be the case, our support team have contacted you directly to find out more.

Ordered Friday morning. Dispatched Monday by 48 hour post. Arrived Thursday. Poor dispatch time and second class post is poor for a company selling medications.

Hi Stuart  Thank you for getting in touch, we love to hear about all of our patients' experiences with us as this lets us know how we can improve how we provide treatments. After reviewing your account I can see that your order was placed on Saturday 15th July at approximately 7:45am. When an order is placed, we try and provide as much information as possible to you by giving a summary of the order (including medication, cost, delivery service chosen and anticipated arrival time.) along with the same information provided by follow-up afterwards. I am sorry if this information is not clearly made available to you but does appear at the checkout, on the order confirmation screen and also by the aforementioned follow-up email. We do want to be as transparent as possible, and let all of our patients know that, once an order is placed we will aim to dispatch the items the same working day if placed prior to 3pm. This means that any orders placed after 3pm or on non-working days are dispatched as soon as we are next open for business. To give our customers the most control possible with their delivery of treatment, we offer a wide range of services. Whilst all are trackable from dispatch to receipt, along with allowing you to update your preferences in flight, all of our patients can choose the delivery service most appropriate. (You can find out more about our delivery service here; https://www.theindependentpharmacy.co.uk/delivery-information) For any urgent treatment patients can choose a guaranteed next-day service, through to the standard delivery which takes 2-3 days to arrive. From your account, I can see that you chose the standard delivery service which takes 2-3 working days to arrive, and from the tracking information of your parcel, I was pleased to see that your parcel arrived well within the anticipated time scales. I don’t know what I was sent but it certainly wasn’t orlistat . I Have had orlistat before and these don’t actually do anything. I have consumed several high fat meals to test them and have none of the expected side effects. Very disappointing.

Hi Sarah Firstly I wanted to thank you for taking the time to leave your review, we love hearing from all of our patients as this helps us develop and improve the service and products which we offer. As this is your first order with us, I wanted to reassure you that we only source and provide medication from responsible and reputable suppliers, which is often the same as the traditional high street pharmacies. Orlistat is the only UK-licensed pill that is clinically proven to aid weight loss and is the best medicinal option for weight loss prescribed by doctors and is generally well regarded, rating 4.75 out of 5 by our patients. Our clinical team have reviewed your feedback and have advised that Orlistat works by decreasing the amount of fat from your diet that your body absorbs. This in turn helps with reducing overall calories and helps with weight loss. The expected weight loss is about 10% of your overall weight over 6 months when combined with a weight-reducing diet and exercise. This equated to about 1kg in a month if you are 75kg, so it is still a slow process. In order to lose weight you still have to eat less and exercise regularly. Orlistat prevents only some of the fat that you eat from being absorbed (just under a third) - if you do not keep to a healthy weight-reducing diet, and you eat more fat (chocolates, cakes, etc), the extra fat that you eat will easily cancel out the effect of the Orlistat. It is also worth considering that Orlistat also has no effect on other sources of calories, such as carbohydrates, sugars, and alcohol, so make sure you are aware of how many calories you are eating from other sources as well. I did want to reassure you that the absence of a side effect does not equate to an inefficacy of the medication and that the active ingredients will still be taking effect in combination with a healthy weight-reducing diet. Hi Fiona Thank you for getting in touch I am very sorry to see that you have not yet received your order and that this is the first we have heard of this. After checking the tracking information for your order I can see that your order was promptly dispatched on the 10th October 2022 and delivery was attempted the next working day on the 11th October. Regrettably there was no answer to the delivery and it appears that your item was taken back to your local collection point for delivery or collection to be arranged. Our support team have been in contact with you and it appears that a calling card may not have been left by the courier when they missed you informing you that your parcel was ready to be collected. We have now established that your parcel is safe and able to be redelivered at a convenient time and date and that you will shortly receive your parcel.

Bad experience with these people,tried ordering and was given the run around.They actually demanded my doctors phone number and website before letting the order go through, even though they ask for this before you order, disgusting, will never order again.My doctors knows I take this remedy and to HD someone to ransom before letting them order is unbelievable.

After reviewing your order details I can see that our clinical team requested GP details as unfortunately, we did not receive this information in your consultation when your order was placed. Patient safety and wellbeing is our utmost concern and as we do not have access to your health records or are able to see you face-to-face our clinical team may need to liaise with your GP this is to ensure that you are receiving the appropriate support for your condition from your doctor.
