“Seasonal Beard Oil & Beard Balm: Summer - on receiving this and giving it a try I found it was way too strong for me personally and i might not actually be able to use it. No problem - raising this as an issue, Lloyd very promptly and reasonably resolved the problem and I'll now have Alfriston Rose Geranium and Bergamot Beard Oil and Balm. I've used this one several times and, though it's a little more expensive, love everything about it. I have to say that, for me, the big plus coming out of this is the refreshing and timely way that the issue was dealt with and that gives me every confidence in coming back to Brighton Beard Co, at least as long as I have my beard which may well be several more years! All in all, everything good and I would recommend BB Co. without reservation.”
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback - this is quite an unusual concern as we use only essential oils to fragrance our products, nothing synthetic and although normally good for the day, it's unlikely to last into the next - this being said, different scents react differently to each and every person so what may be strong and over powering for could be subtle for another.
Sorry that it did not meet your expectations on this occasion, we can look at exchanging this for you if thats what you'd prefer, I'd like to supply a returns label just so I can be sure that the product is correct and there hasn't been any mistakes with dosing. long story short, this is a super strong wax with fantastic hold, reshapability, tackiness, matt finish.
I was becoming allergic to ALL of my moustache waxes (I've had 12+ waxes in the past 6 years) due to the pine resin (I though it was the beeswax but was mistaken). This is the first moustache wax with as STRONG a hold WITHOUT the pine resin.... It's given me the ability to have a serious curl again in my moustache and I'm complimented on it all the time.
My moustache is a part of my brand(lol) as Christo Simson Photography, and it often strikes conversation with wedding guests, and opens the door for conversation with a LOT of people. Without this wax, the other alternatives are just not as long-lasting / strong hold etc... this really really does the trick.
The amount of wax provided in the tin is a LOT so it will last a very long time. I anticipate this wax will last me years based on the generous amount in the tin.
Communication from the company is also excellent so don't hesitate to reach out to them if you have questions. I cannot recommend this wax highly enough. I would say be aware it's incredibly strong/firm.
I've had best results when I use a primary and secondary wax. This product is a secondary for finishing firm hold. There is a primary which would be the Jevingtons medium hold.
