“In forty odd years of grooming this is undoubtably the best firm hold wax I have found; an initial application lasting throughout the day. Many lay claim to this but are generally undone by the wear and tear of the daily grind or even the steam from a cup of tea or coffee. Conditioning? I suspect regular shampooing and oiling to give any wax a run for it's money but this does leave an even, smooth, texture.

I'd stumbled upon Brighton Beard Co a year or so ago, Im big on products made in country and using natural ingredients, Brighton Beard Co ticked all those boxes, next was smell, something I'd only find out by ordering but the reviews said enough in that I could trust even if this wasn't to my taste, it would still be suitable for regular use.
But to my joy, the smell of the beard bar is fantasic. Its musky and pronounced without being overpowering or perfumed. The charcoal allows for exfoliation and purification of the skin under the beard and I always feel more freshed after use. Combigned with a beard oil my beard sits nicer and feels healthier.
Ofcourse this is only when paired with a decent diet and general healthy lifestyle, but if you have all that sorted, this is certainly the cherry on top.
I also want to credit their fantastic and attentive customer service, genuine people who make up a brilliant team who have helped me on multiple occassions with my order and helping me fix a recent mistake I made when ordering during the black friday sale.
