“Fantastic service! And wonderful company to deal with, selling amazing products. I thought they’d omitted a product from my order only to find my husband had inadvertently thrown said product out with the box. I emailed the company to apologise and let them know what had happened. Their reply made my day!!”

“Really pleased with our sideboard- solid piece or furniture with a really nice finish. James was responsive and a good, friendly, communicator from point of purchase the quick delivery. “We have been looking for a large sideboard for sometime and came across an old charm on Facebook marketplace. We loved the sideboard but in the description it stated we could have it any colour so after contacting Smallhill we agreed on a colour from the farrow and ball range. The sideboard arrived to us yesterday and to say its much nicer in person than it is in the pictures (although it was beautiful) is an understatement. All in all it took around 3 weeks from ordering to delivery and to have a one off piece of furniture in our home at half the price of a 'national' company is fantastic. We've already had comments about how beautiful it is. We have passed on your details. We are looking to get some bedroom furniture after Christmas so we will be in touch to discuss. Thank you once again for a lovely sideboard!”

“Visited at the weekend. Bought some beautiful East of India gifts for Christmas presents. will definitely be back for more at Christmas too. always nice to visit and see new items. there is a table and chairs we love which was slightly too big for our space but will keep a look out.”

“I enquired about having my kitchen resprayed earlier this year. In July, the Smallhill Furniture team came and removed all our doors, took them back to their spray shop to be painted in a colour match from Farrow and Ball. They came and masked off the entire kitchen and resprayed whatever couldn't be removed. The entire kitchen was completed within a week and we are absolutely in love! a complete transformation for a fraction of the cost! We are now looking at what furniture we want painting! Thank you”

“Visited shop last April purchased items really lovely. Ordered online last june 3 corn baskets never received loads of emails calls no response.will be sending business invoice for 30 quid refund. Disappointing as had renovation project in italy was going to order 3k of items after this sourced from other suppliers. Shame as products nice. Fed up chasing”

“This company is a disgrace never received an order for a lamp despite receiving communication initially to tell me the one in stock had been sold so a replacement one would be sent direct from manufacturer. Emails messages all being ignored. I have now raised a dispute for payment with my bank AVOID”

“Recently had our kitchen resprayed. Absolutely thrilled with how it's turned out. I thought i would have to replace my kitchen entirely but happy to have found this company. Took about 1 week to complete which i was really happy with. Took the doors away to be painted at their workshop and completed the rest of the kitchen by masking off the entire area. They were always clean and tidy throughout their time here. Couldn't fault them one bit. Thank you!”

“Fabulous shop. Bought some beautiful furniture for our new house. Very friendly and well priced. We also have 5 pieces of furniture resprayed which has tranformed our bedroom. We didnt want to part with our furniture but this provided a new lease of life. Many thanks!”

“Order never arrived despite multiple promises from the company After a month of waiting for a diffuser refill to arrive, I contacted to the company who apologised and said they would see that the order is sent out immediately. Around 2 weeks later I got back in touch again and this time was promised that an additional refill would be sent out free of charge due to the long wait times. The order has still not arrived and I have tried to get in touch with a company two more times and have subsequently been ignored. That's no way I could recommend this company to anyone, but I hope they can improve their practises after seeing this review. I'm not one to leave reviews and I've tried to give multiple opportunities but it's disrespectful at this stage.”

“Order placed 2 weeks ago, delivery up to 14 days. Other than order confirmation, no other communication. As it is a bulky item, I need to make arrangement for somebody to be home, so few days advance warning for etd would be great, to be fair any information would be welcome. But... No response to emails, calling is useless, nobody answered and no one getting back after leaving voicemail. I am starting to worry that I am being scammed. Money gone, but no idea when and if I will ever receive my order. Got James to respond on Messenger, but after giving him order ref number he is no longer replying. At this point I just want a refund (I know, that it is not past the delivery date yet, but god help me if there is smth wrong with the order, I will be stuck). Unfortunately with my lack of luck getting through to them I have no idea if that is even possible. If you have a choice, choose a different company to buy from.”

“Terrible customer service!!! Do not order from them unless you can take the items with you!! I ordered, in person, a lovely cabinet from them in August to be shipped to Sussex in October. This cost me £275 for the cabinet and £49 for the shipping. I was moving warehouse, so I emailed them my new address at the end of September to send the cabinet to me. It never arrived. I have emailed numerous times with no reply at all, not even a courtesy email to say they will look into it for me. I have called numerous times and left phone messages, no one has called me back. I finally managed to speak to someone in early December and he said he would call me back on Monday with details of what had happened to my purchase. Nothing!! I have emailed and called numerous times and no reply at all!! Im so fed up with this company now! I dont care if they sold it to someone else, but the courteous thing to do would be to tell and refund me the £334 that I spent. I cant actually believe how bad this customer service is and if they treated all their customers like this, they would not have a business! Its such a pity as they were so friendly when I was in their shop in August and even showed me their excess furniture which is where I chose my cabinet from. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY, BUY FROM A COMPANY THAT ACTUALLY SEND YOU THE GOODS!!!!”
