“After telling me you had processed my samples, several days later,(wasted days) you advise me that you cannot send these OFFSHORE. I live on the Isle of Wight, we have daily deliveries from the Post office, and every major carrier service comes to the island every day. I am fairly certain that a few slip samples would have been sent in a jiffy bag or small box and would have cost no more than anywhere on the mainland. Whats more when I emailed a response to your refusal to send samples, you could not even bother to reply. I am grateful for the lucky escape in not having to deal with a company like yourselves”

Hi Pete, Sorry to hear about your bad experience whilst ordering free-of-charge samples. We can only apologise for the delays this has caused you. Contrary to your review we do not send a few slips in a jiffy bag, we send our full sample panels of each brick type, which weigh around 3.5kg each, these are then packaged up in a padded box, the cost of which is around £9 per panel plus the postage costs (our customers are able to order upto 4 of these). The postage is extremely high for us to send these to the Isle of Wight, (over £20+vat) so we are unable to offer this great service for customers on the Isle of Wight currently, we are hoping that parcel couriers reduce their rates for your shipping zone in future. Ontop of the high sample costs, if you were to place an order with ourselves, the cost of the shipping is 3 times more than to a mainland postcode, which can make the shipping more expensive than the products.

“Excellent samples big enough to give a good idea of what they would look like. Unfortunately, our builder has asked that we purchase brick slip pannels rather than individual brick slips so this product won't be suitable after all. I was particularly impressed that these samples were shipped free of charge too.”

“Brickslips arrived very quickly and there were several on each board. Very impressed as nobody else sends out free ones! We still haven't found the right colour as they only send 4 free boards to one address. But the service was excellent. Easy to order online as well.”

“Sent for to brick slip samples, easy to navigate the website for this and good email communication. Slips delivered well packaged and generous sample board so can see what they are like in situ. “The slips were great and the adhesive works really well on a painted wall. All delivered as expected with useful reminders and arrival time information. The mortar instructions weren’t great. I mixed it way too thickly and struggled to apply it. They said it should stick to an upside down trowel, however at this thickness a mortal gun is impossible to use!”

“My wife and I wanted to add a "feature" to our newly designed kitchen - we had seen bricks displayed in the kitchen showroom from where we brought our kitchen but the challenge was to source our own. We found Slips from Stock online. We found their customer support was very good and patient as we had several questions to ask like "how do we do this" or "how do we do that" and they came up with some great ideas. Once our order was placed they were able to deliver on an agreed date for when the kitchen build was ready for our tiler to fit the slips.”
