“After service absolutely shocking they take forever to repair then send the wrong part.
Nearly waited a week and still havnt received a replacement scooter.
I can't get out & my anxiety is through the roof all caused by this company's slowness & lack of organisation.”
“Scooter arrived but I found it difficult to ride as there was not enough space for my legs. Rode it only a few times by folding down the horrible seat back which is too upright. I then put a cushion on and sat on that. However I did not feel secure.
Instructions say to charge battery every two months which I did. Scooter failed and trying to get assistance from Livewell was a nightmare. After five weeks an engineer came and said the battery had gone and should be charged weekly so their instructions were wrong. I am now faced with spending a further 300 pounds for a new battery to put on a scooter not fit for purpose. That is 1000 pounds plus I have lost. This scooter only suitable for very slim people. I feel that I have been let down badly and have not been able to do as I wanted and take it on a coach trip or holiday.”
“I bought an easy-fold electric chair from live well, the steering was not good at all it wandered off to one side and didn't have a lot of power.
I contacted them and they picked it up and took it for repair when they returned it, it was no better I rang Livewll and spoke to a person called Tom he said our engineers would not send it out if it wasn't right.
After I said I would not be calling you if it was. He told me an independent engineering company would come and assess it. They did and confirmed the steering was not right, they took it back and in about a week I received a new chair. It was the same more engineers came out and agreed the steering was not right and they took it back. I rang and spoke with Tom again, he asked if I would like a new chair. I told him I've tried 3 times now and had the same problem and I would like a refund.
I received a refund a while later but not the full amount. I rang Tom and asked why, he then tells me they educated the delivery charge of £19.90, which states on their website free delivery the next day.
Even if it didn't I would have thought after 3 attempts at getting it right they might have given me a full refund.
I have now purchased a new chair from Monarc Mobility which is first class and costs a bit more but like my Mum used to say you only get what you pay for.”
“I didnt buy new from you but purchased one of the automatic fold and unfold. Probablly in transit the worm drive which lifts and lowers the scooter broke (apparentlyit is made of plastic, of all materials for something that has to do such a tough job. It is out for repair but,I understand the engineer who has undertaken to mend it has been, three times, sent the wrong part. The scooter has been off road now for over two months, I do believe, if only to protect your name, you should be more proactive and 'accurate', in the unfortunate but does happen when a Livewell scooter breaks down”
