About Jericho Coffee Traders:

Kiwi James and his wife Lizzie had always been in love with the idea of having their own coffee business, often scheming about how they would go about starting it up.

The opportunity came in 2009 when they found a beautiful Vespa trike for sale on the side of the road, and both thought: “that needs a coffee machine on the back of it”! And so, Jericho Coffee Traders was born!

Now we have a thriving online business and three locations in Oxford, UK - our Espresso bar on the High Street, our Cafe at the Oxford Castle, and our Cafe & Roastery on Osney Mead - all serving delicious espresso and filter coffees accompanied by locally made pastries and cakes.

“Excellent coffee, extremely easy service and great value subscription. My old supplier suspended their online operations... So I was worried about finding a good replacement. After intensive research on "best coffee subscriptions" lists, these guys are a brilliant find. My new go-to coffee supplier 🙌”

“I have attended their Barista course, which was amazing and highly recommended. Their coffees are great too (obvs.) but I am especially enjoying their "Tres Amigos - Colombia - whole bean" offer. The Las Brisis has a very distinguished and balanced flavour, not overly powerful in any one direction, but lots of flavours beautifully integrated into one sensation. Coffees often have "length" but sometimes this can be overly bitter, citrous or acidic. Las Brisis after taste is very long and pleasantly sweet. So far, my favourite. I have just switched to the El Dorado, but haven't got to know it enough to share an opinion yet. I will update this later on if I'm allowed.”

“The coffee course was really good, interesting and eye opening. The people are very friendly and helpful. I found the whole experience to be fun and beneficial. I had an issue with an online order which was dealt with very quickly and positively.”

“Brilliant training! If you have a machine and think you know how to use it to get great coffee but haven’t done any training… Think again! So much I didn’t know. Really pleased I did this and our trainer was excellent (made a great flat white… as you’d imagine!) Would recommend 🔥👍”
