About Jericho Coffee Traders:

Kiwi James and his wife Lizzie had always been in love with the idea of having their own coffee business, often scheming about how they would go about starting it up.

The opportunity came in 2009 when they found a beautiful Vespa trike for sale on the side of the road, and both thought: “that needs a coffee machine on the back of it”! And so, Jericho Coffee Traders was born!

Now we have a thriving online business and three locations in Oxford, UK - our Espresso bar on the High Street, our Cafe at the Oxford Castle, and our Cafe & Roastery on Osney Mead - all serving delicious espresso and filter coffees accompanied by locally made pastries and cakes.

“There are lots of good coffee producers and shops in Oxford, but this is my favourite. Jamrs, Luzzie and their team are friendly, welcoming and coffee experts. Also available at the Royal Albert Hall!”

“First time I've tried Jericho coffee and I'm not disappointed. I went with the suprise package and got some beans called The Source Ethiopia. Amazing flavours and using my sage barrister made an excellent espresso with a great creme. Thanks guys will be ordering again.”

“I’ve had a subscription of one bag every 3 weeks for about 3 years. I can’t imagine why I’d ever change that - figure that’s praise enough. Especially when they protected my original subscription cost for nearly 2 years. Class acts all round.”

“Thank you so much for making our son's birthday a special occasion. Although we're in the US, our son lives in Didcot and enjoys trying various coffees. He was totally surprised when the first shipment of his Coffee Subscription Gift - Surprise Package arrived and said he is enjoying the first bag to arrive. He has found that this month's selection tastes best with a tad of milk added. He did say that it wasn't clear that the first bag he received was the first of twelve, but is very pleased with his gift. Thank you again to Lizzie for assisting me with my order.”
