“Very happy with product I was not to happy about the delivery charge as your wagon driver told me he was going to a drop at South Shields which is only a couple of mile from where I live about 7 paving slabs was broken”

Hi Anthony, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, we only have the one depot in Preston so use 32 ton crane wagons to deliver multiple orders at once otherwise it wouldn't be cost effective to make the 300 mile round trip, but everyone pays the same delivery charge. “Extremely rude staff, poorly loaded trucks that damaged products. Worst quality of products ive ever seen. Its no wonder its so cheap. Also absolutely rip off on delivery.”

Hi Eloisa, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, we value feedback good or bad as it allows us to improve. We have looked into your complaint and would first like to apologize if you thought any of our staff came across rude this was by no means their intention, however with regards to the products we did rectify the damages when asked and did so on the day you requested. As mentioned previously, we are a bulk supplier of the concrete so sell these products by the artic load, the concrete is wet cast concrete so it can be prone to chipping, it is not a result of a poorly loaded lorry. “Ordered from welch fencing as they were a lot cheaper than anywhere else I could find for rock face gravel boards and their concrete fence posts were a great price aswell. Order came when they said it would and was quickly unloaded in a location that suited me. Have only fitted about a third of the order so far but the quality is great and very happy with it all. *Wooden panels in the photo purchased elsewhere*”

“Always receive good service. Quality of fencing is good and price competitive. Recently ordered some fence panels which were then not required and Welch Fencing were very accommodating and took them back with full refund.”

“I ordered 6' x2' panels, my order was acknowledged & delivery date agreed. Panels were delivered on time & well packaged for the delivery, If anything a bit to well packaged as large ring shank nails were used to nail lengths of wood to the panels, it took ages to try & remove the nails without damaging the panels. However, I am very pleased with the panels.”

“Unfortunately having waited 3 weeks for my delivery, it turned up with broken concrete posts where the ratchets straps where tightened around the concrete edges to tight., and the panels were wrong. They sent featherboards when I ordered picket fence panels. This I could of forgive and was prepared to try and rectify had the foreign delivery driver not been so rude. He had an absolutely disgusting attitude and became very impatient while I was trying to speak to the office to rectify the error. It was his attitude that prompted me to cancel the order. I had a rude delivery driver stomping about because he had to wait 5 minutes while in the meantime I had to cancel the job and find work for 3 lads. I spoken to the manager who apologised and I received a refund within days which I can’t fault. However what shocked me the most was when I told the manager he had lost a £1000 order due to his drivers poor attitude, he told me that the driver had the same attitude in the office and that was his mannerisms. If any of my lads ever acted like that in front of a customer they would be looking for new jobs. I would not use this company again. Might I add that the delivery did come on the specified day and time. Shame about the rest.”

“Ordered twenty one fence panels and they were delivered very quickly. Very impressed with the quality of them and they are heavy duty so should survive windy weather no problem. Really like the colour of them too. Two of the panels I ordered were to be cut to size and both of those fitted perfectly. Would highly recommend.”
