“Ordering was great - a good choice of products available. Delivery was fast which was great. However, for a company specialising in packaging, Gadsby’s would be packaging left a lot to be desired. Items ordered were loose in a box that was way too big. Consequently they had so much space to move around that corners of the boxes were damaged. Some of the folding flaps were so damaged that it took some doing to get them inserted in to their sleeves, while others spoiled the appearance of the constructed box. I would have expected at the very least that some kind of strapping be used to hold 25 loose flat pack boxes together so they weren’t all sliding around getting damaged. So only 3 stars due to poor shipping packaging.”

“I like the products but sometimes Emails not responded to promptly. Also,items that are exported should be considered for no VAT payment as similar companies in the UK.”

Hi Theophila, I am genuinely sorry you feel this way. As far as I can see we have responded promptly to your emails and there have been a number of changes to the order which we have actioned for you straight away. I mentioned in our emails that we are happy to explore a refund of VAT but in line with our company policy we do need to receive a Proof of Export certificate from your shipper to action this. If you would like to discuss further don't hesitate to let me know!

“The baskets were as expected but 2 of the items ordered were a different material to what I thought and trying to return the items seems difficult, firstly having to make your own arrangements to return an item and secondly there is a fee to return them into their stock check. This has deterred me from returning them but has also deterred me from buying from them again too. Nevertheless the wicker baskets were nice.”
