“An excellent service overall . The speed of processing was unbelievable and I will certainly be using this service again. My only difficulty was trying to collect a sizeable amount of blood by the fingerprick method”

“very good, fast service. only issue i had was difficulty in getting enough blood to fill the vial up to the required level - had to pierce three digits - but the results came back fast and no problems..............”

“The service offered by Forth is excellent and my experience in dealing with them was great. The reason I’ve given them 4 stars rather than 5 is that they were unable to arrange for a trained phlebotomist to collect my sample. That is probably understandable as I live in a sparsely populated rural area, but if that is the reason, then the website should be updated to warn that this might be the case. Also, the phlebotomy kit itself consists of a single needle and three vacuum loaded sample tubes which worked brilliantly in my case as my veins are easily accessible. However, the phlebotomist I found said that the kit is not ideal for people who’s veins are harder to access, so perhaps there should be a recommendation for people in that category to visit a clinic.”

“Easy to use test kit with good instruction leaflet. Very prompt results but somewhat confusing on some of them. I have contacted them for an explanation and await their advice. Overall couldn’t fault their efficiency.”

“Overall really positive experience and will use again -- the results and doctor summary are well presented and will help to inform some lifestyle changes. This would have been a 5* but after booking pharmacy appointment via their partner, it was cancelled just 90 minutes before for no clear reason - showing some weakness in the chosen partner network. I was more disappointed as I had taken half a day off for this specific appointment. Thankfully, Forth helped me resolve this within some days after -- a big thanks to Clare for the help here. It was much appreciated and helped me a lot. I'll be back to use their service again in some months, and hopefully next time will be a 5*”

“I would say the service met but didn't exceed my expectations I bought a comprehensive set of tests for what felt like I reasonable price. The turnaround time was as advertised, which is relatively slow if you include omega tests. I think the professional's interpretation of the advice whilst clear could perhaps have been more prescriptive. Specifically, they advised cholesterol was high but all other levels were normal. Having given some guidance on what level of risk this presented and links to relevant resources on diet/lifestyle would really have be appreciated. I also think it would be good to have a way to submit the reason for the test / any concerns, so the professional reviewing the results can give a more personalised interpretation Having to buy a subscription and cancel it rather than have the option of a one-off purchase is needlessly annoying though”

“It needs to be a bit more helpful in the area of how to solve problems when carrying out the test at home. Instructions are important, and they do comply with it, but they need to add info for what to do in case the test isn't going as planned.”

“The choice of tests on this site is one of the best I've come across. The site is easy to use and I especially appreciated the ability to add additional tests to ensure I covered all the areas I needed. When my results came back, they revealed to me something which explains many of the symptoms I've recently been experiencing which I've struggled to get through my GP, and represented in an easy to understand way. The reason for dropping a star is that my results took almost a week to come through, meaning that unfortunately I didn't have them when I went to an important medical appointment about my symptoms, which was frustrating. I would definitely recommend this company, but would advise making sure you send the kit back at least a week before results are needed.”

“Quick and efficient delivery of the kit and blood results. Was a bit more tricky to get a nurse to attend my home address but with patience got there in the end, worth the wait.”

“I ordered a test that required a venous blood test and booked through Forth's clinic partner. All went well until the day of my appointment. The closest location was 15 miles away from me, as my test had to be done as close to 9am as possible it involved driving in rush hour, only to see on arriving that my appointment was cancelled due to staff absence. Nobody in store could help as the clinic is independent, rebooking was challenging and there was a mix up with dates resulting in another wasted journey. I got so fed up I wanted to cancel the whole thing. I spoke to customer services and they sorted it out without issue giving me a full refund. I felt listened to and fairly treated. Although it didn't work out this time, I would still order from Forth again (but I'd probably book my own phlebotomist next time).”

“First of all I am very pleased with how quickly the results came back. That was definitely 5*. I dropped a star as there was no way from a finger blood drop that I would manage to fill the vial, and another half of one. Finally, everything else, including the phlebotomist were first class.”

“My daughter found these guys online as I have been suffering but the doctors cannot find out why. Did 11 individual tests (build you own) as doctors had already done main ones. They kept in touch every step of the way. I elected to pay for a nurse to take my blood and it was all done very efficiently. Blood taken Monday morning, received by the company on Tuesday, results on my account by Wednesday. The results were explained, although possibly a more in depth explanation of the one test that came back red would have been the only improvement I would have liked. Will use them again should the need arise.”

“Great service. Easy to pick test you want. Fast delivery and quick results. But just like I said before, you can talk to Gp about your results. They give feedback, ask questions, but you cant answer them. So thats little bit annoying. Forth should improve on that”
