“Ok, first of all I’m very happy with the Lowrance that I purchased, the lead I bought was the wrong one for my needs but that’s my fault. However I did receive a phone call telling me that I needed a ‘backbone system’ to match up my two units, this isn’t correct as a simple Ethernet connection has done exactly what I needed. That said they’re an excellent company.”

“Web site is slow, search function in the web site is very disappointing. Also instead of lengthy marketing talk some more concrete technical description with relevant measures and pdf of instalation and user manuals would be appreciated.”

“The Website is straightforward to use, items described well and easy to order, prices seemed competitive. However I needed the items urgently so opted for next day delivery at extra cost. Unfortunately my plans changed and I was not able to be at home on the day of delivery or the day after. I am not sure if I missed the fact the item needed a signature from me or someone in my household. Despite leaving notes on the door and a call to Force 4 customer service it did not get delivered until 2 days later. The problem appeared to be with FedEx who would not change any details either from me because apparently I was not paying for the courier when I spoke to them, or even when Force 4 requested a change this made no difference. I found there inability to change details and delivery time/location seem infinitely harder compared to other companies such as DPD, Amazon or even Royal Mail and would sadly make me think twice before ordering on line from Force 4.”

“You would have scored very highly had I received a reply to my email about items showing as being within the company but not available to buy online by branch transfer. As a result, you only got part of my order and the rest (RAM mic etc) went to Cactus who had the bits you had but wouldn't sell. You only got the order because they were out of stock with the VHF I wanted... Even if your system wouldn't allow that, the courtesy of an email reply would have been nice. The question below "How quick did the company reply to your queries?" - there's no option for "I never got a reply". Delivery was very quick though.”

“Product is good but delivery was a real faff. For some reason it’s signed for by the person not even a neighbour….sadly this meant I missed my lift out date and couldn’t actually use the product.”

“It was fine but the messaging from the couriers said that the item would be delayed which prompted some panic although they did deliver next working day. - I paid £10 for the privilege. I’ve heard a story though of someone else this week that didn’t get their item in 24 hrs with no comms from force 4 to say they couldn’t do it, so be cautious about their delivery timelines. Safer to go elsewhere if you need it quickly by the sounds of it!”

“Urgently needed the product to replace damage prior to a race so paid for expedited shipping. Without any communication, Force4 downgraded my order to standard shipping. Had i know i'd have to wait for standard shipping i would definitely not have made the order.”

“Not a like for like for the now rare as hens teeth rwo units. Bit of relief around the aperture will get you there, depending on how tight the original was. Lip is wider, material is glossy and looks very hard-wearing, may scratch easily, possibly.”

“Interesting g that you did not offer a product review on the chain links which were supplied as 5/16 instead of 8mm and which i have yet to determine if this a concern or not. FedEx service delivered to Torwoodhill lodge instead of torwood lodge and tracking still shows it out for delivery last Friday”

“The Antenna looks good (not yet installed) but I was disappointed to find that there was no hex nut included which is necessary to fit the antenna on to a mast bracket (or other mounting). The threaded bottom of the antenna clearly clearly needs such a nut. I took the antenna to my local nut & bolt shop (Namrick) and I was disappointed to find that they did NOT stock the necessary nut but he did identify the thread (M16 x 1.0mm pitch) for me to search further. Ebay searches found only plated steel examples of this special nut but I DID find A2 stainless examples on Amazon. Quite a lot of hassle to go to find something which I think should have been included with this product!”

“Products and delivery are great. Website is slow and clunky, payment would not go through three times, some items were not in stock at the till but were initially added to order and then deleted from the order at payment stage.”
