“Perfectly happy with the online retailer and the product they supplied. But very unhappy with the courier they used and the instructions they gave their courier. The courier (DPD) made no attempt to deliver the item; then said he had tried to deliver but no one was in ( untrue, we are able to verify if drivers have been to the property);his photographic evidence of being here was a blank pic; then dropped the item at a store 2 miles away, apparently on the instructions of the retailer.”

We’re very sorry about the issues you experienced with the courier. It’s frustrating when delivery doesn’t go as expected, especially when you were clearly in and able to verify that no attempt was made. We’ve also seen similar issues with blank delivery photos and have raised this directly with DPD. Regarding the parcel being redirected to a collection point — that decision was made by DPD, not us. While couriers may occasionally do this to avoid failed delivery attempts, we agree it wasn’t appropriate in this case and we apologise for the inconvenience caused. However, we’d like to clarify that we don’t inflate our product prices to cover delivery charges, as some sellers do. What you see is the true product price, and the delivery fee simply reflects what we’re charged by the courier — we don’t profit from it. While some websites advertise "free" delivery, the cost is often built into higher product prices.
