Item wasnt a bad price put then had to pay £8.95 for postage. When i received the item it had obviously been opened previously by somebody else as the box was badly damaged and the item was out of its original packaging therefore didnt want to accept the goods. I asked to return the goods and for a refund I had to pay for posting back them Electrical4Less did refund me but took off the £8.95 for postage. So not a good investment and wouldnt use again.

We completely understand your concern regarding postage costs. However, we’d like to clarify that we don’t profit from delivery charges. The fee we charge simply reflects the cost from our courier, and in most cases, we actually subsidise part of it — especially when orders qualify for free delivery over £75 + VAT. We always aim to offer real value through low product prices with minimal markup and a low carriage-paid threshold. Unfortunately, it's not possible to provide all three — ultra-low prices, low free shipping threshold, and free/discounted shipping on every order. This was my first time ordering with Electrical4less and I must admit, my last two. I was assured the order would be next day delivery. I place my order on Friday afternoon and it didn’t arrive until Tuesday lunch time which was a problem as our electrician was staring a full rewire on Monday. When the order turned up on Tuesday, over half the value was missing. The customer service team were brilliant, they shipped delivery of the missing items for next day delivery (to arrive on Wednesday). However DPD failed to deliver on Wednesday and by this point my rewire was way behind schedule so I asked for a refund and bought the supplies from Screwfix - much quicker and more reliable.

The product was exactly what I wanted, and was not available anywhere else. It was delivered very quickly, but the only trouble was the first delivery was the wrong item. After speaking to them, this was rectified immediately, and the correct item was received the following day.

Perfectly happy with the online retailer and the product they supplied. But very unhappy with the courier they used and the instructions they gave their courier. The courier (DPD) made no attempt to deliver the item; then said he had tried to deliver but no one was in ( untrue, we are able to verify if drivers have been to the property);his photographic evidence of being here was a blank pic; then dropped the item at a store 2 miles away, apparently on the instructions of the retailer.

Relatively easy to find products, ordering was straightforward but I was shocked at the cost of post and packing. My £1.50 item cost over £10 in total. I can’t believe that it cost that much for a small MCB. Many online merchants offer free P&P.

Placed order and everything was fine . Then I received a phone call to say that there had been a mistake with the stock and the item was no longer available . They offered me an alternative which I took . I had paid for next day before midday delivery . At 10.30am the next day i received a text message to say that there had been an unexpected issue with the delivery and this takes around 24hrs to sort out …. As this was Fri I didn’t know if the item was coming Sat or Monday . The item arrived on Monday but no refund on the next day delivery just some free pozi 2 drill bits !!!

Service was good fast efficient, but the item was packed in a terrible way. It was a tiny switch that could have gone in a padded Jiffy bag instead it came in a big box wrapped in metres of cling film and bubble wrap totally environmentally poor. People care about waste so you can do better I think?

Good price for the books l bought, but the test and inspection book got bent over in the corner which is very annoying. Otherwise a good service.

I use an iPad for work, I found the site very hard to use from my device. Pages would not load and took me 4 attempts to order. I did not receive my order "next working day" as stated. However prices are good.

I ordered 12 x 75mm long electrical socket screws which arrived in a few days. What I was not expecting was the excessive postage costs which were not apparent when I hit the payment button. The cost of p & p was twice the cost of the screws - over £8

Hi Ian I am sorry for the mistake and my late response. We closed for Christmas on the 23rd so emails and calls have not been monitored. We re-open tomorrow (03.01.23). No problem with ordering but have been let down with the delivery. I paid £8.50 for next working day and have still not received the order. EVRI attempted to deliver last week but I was not home at the time. They said it would be delivered next working day but it still hasn't arrived

I received the switch I had ordered which proved to be correct. The returns arrangements were not ideal. Forbes and Lomax who supplied the item demand 20% costs for return of the item - this seems completely unreasonable.
