“I was expecting the 20 strawberry plants to be much larger in size and they did come in a very wrapped but very small packaging. However, after some given water the dry root system did 'pick up'. the root system is very long and is now thriving and I have now planted them outside. Very pleased with the communications and the plants from this company and will definately consider there products in the future”

“The Primula candelabra mixed plants that I received were mostly without any new growth or any green leaves. 2 out of 19 were sprouting. One (I ordered 20) was just not in the pods which was odd as the packaging was very good but not really any sign that it had been there. They are supposed to be evergreen and I would have expected some die back but 17 of them were root balls and one punnet came with a very satisfied slug. The Sarcococca confusa were very nice with new leaves and lots of flowers. KINDLY CONTACTED BY J PARKERS WITH A PLEASANT EMAIL EXPLAINING WHY THE PLANTS WERE WITHOUT ANY FOLIAGE AND AS TO WHY THE ORDER WAS INCOMPLETE WITH A MENTION THAT PLANTS WOULD BE SENT TO ME FREE OF CHARGE TO MAKE UP THE ORDER. LOVELY 👌 IF THIS WAS TRUE. NO PLANTS, NO RESPONSE TO EMAILS. SHAME. HAVE A LARGE, EMPTY GARDEN THAT NEEDS MANY MORE PLANTS AND TREES. I WILL SHOP SOMEWHERE DIFFERENT”

Hi Colin Thank you for your review. Primula candelabra are considered as a semi evergeen plant. When they are young/unestablished they are considered as herbaceous and we would advise planting. Our apologies about the slug, these plants are grown and kept outside so although we do our best to make sure predators are not present it isn't always possible to prevent this. I will arrange for some replacements to be sent to cover for the damage caused. Kind regards Trish

“10 of the lily bulbs I received were in poor condition,two different varieties, they were a different colour,soft and mouldy.”
