“Managed to find an Australian wine which we had not been able to find in the UK! Ordered late on Friday and wine was with us on Monday afternoon! Brilliant! Only problem was that although Drinks Direct had written our delivery instructions correctly, (leave in garage if out) these had not been followed by City Link and they had written 'Leave with neighbour if out' on the box. This is a problem as we live in the middle of nowhere and only have 1 neighbour who works and is frequently not at home! Luckily on this occasion we were at home.However can't fault Drinks Direct and will definitely order from them again in the near future, as they provide wine we like rather than taking risks with other wine clubs. Glad we found them.”

“Absolutely brilliant service. I placed my order on Thursday night at 18:30, everything that I wanted was in stock and easy to choose. The bill paying part was really quick and simple to complete. The order then came the next morning at 8:30am! Super speedy service and all the stock was wrapped carefully so everything was intact. I then needed a query answering, which was answered in full within an hour of contact. Just such great service all round. Will definitely be using DrinksDirect again!”

“Although all the measurements were online I was still a little shocked by the size. A miniature is obviously small but I was expecting the bottles to be a little bigger. Saying that I got the items delivered to my door 2 days after I placed the order. What more could you ask for?”

Thank you for your feedback. The delivery charge to the Scottish Isles is higher than for Mainland UK due to the higher costs of transport to this location. Some online companies also charge higher delivery rates for the upper reaches of Scotland on the Mainland, however for all of Mainland UK, DrinksDirect.co.uk charges a fixed delivery charge. We think it would be great to see a fixed delivery charge for the whole of the UK including the Isles, however as our couriers need to cover their costs, as do we, there is a higher delivery charge to the Scottish Isles. If this is a possibility, you may like to consider shipping to a friend or relative in the upper reaches of Scotland, on the Mainland and avoid the higher shipping cost of direct delivery to the Scottish Isles. We hope you still continue to enjoy using the DrinksDirect.co.uk service in the future.

“I have seen some negative feedback regarding contacting this company...apparently several people needed to contact Drinks Direct for some reason or other...the company have no phone service apparently...and they where not responding to the emails sent by customers. This put me off somewhat...even though I had used the company several time before without a problem. It is always reassuring to know that if there is a problem it will be resolved quickly and without any hassle, either getting in touch or being contacted. The drink I wanted was competitively priced and as I had no problems before I went ahead. As in the past the delivery was swift and prompt. The items I ordered were as described and what i ordered. So I have no problem saying to someone that I would recommend this company...with one reservation...if you have a problem...you may have difficulty getting a response or any prompt action.”
