“I am really pleased with my order and it arrived really quickly. Can?t fault the service. I was really disappointed with the postage though. Living on the Isle of Wight (with a Portsmouth post code) for the first time ever I was asked to pay an extra ?17.50 postage after paying the postage that was asked for when I placed my order. We are only 4 miles from Portsmouth. So very disappointed for being asked to pay extra.”

Dear Mr John Byrne, Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to read of the issue you experienced with the higher delivery charge for delivery to the Isle of Wight. Delivery to off-shore UK locations, including Northern Ireland, Scottish Isles and Isle of Wight have a higher delivery charge, as our courier partners charge more for delivery to these locations, due to higher costs for them to deliver there. Of course, we would also prefer if the delivery charge was the same for off-shore UK locations as Mainland UK, however the higher costs means the cost for shipping to such locations is also higher. “Both my sister ( who suggested company) & I use Drinks Direct . My sis sends to my sons & husband birthdays & Christmas. I use to send to my bro in law ( her husband). I ordered for his birthday present & item delivered next day . Excellent service AND you can speak to a real human if want advice ! A very refreshing change these days . Excellent choice of drinks also .”

“I live in the US and this is my go-to website for gifts of whisky/gin for friends and family back in England. It's convenient, there's a huge choice and price range, and delivery is reliably quick. Also - which is important to me given that I use the service for presents - there is the option to add a gift message. I definitely recommend Drinks Direct.”
