“All the brushes I have purchased from Denman have been perfect. The D38 paddle brush, the Be Bop shower brush and the D90 brush. I recommend these brushes for all type 4 hair types.”

“I bought Denman blowdry, brushes from Sainsbury's and found them difficult to use. My hairdresser said she couldn't use them either as they had no griphandle. Denman were, kind enough to take them back and allow me to buy the equivalent in costs from their website. By the time I paid postage both ways, I was a further £9.95 out of pocket and had items I didn't need since I bought the same brushes my hairdresser uses elsewhere. All a bit of waste of time and money. I did consider giving them to charity shop and tell them just sterilise in Miltons and sell if someone could use them.”

Hi Joanne, I understand that you were hoping that we'd refund some brushes that you purchased from Sainsburys. However, as we mentioned earlier, refunds for items purchased from Sainsbury's can only be processed by Sainsbury's themselves. I'm glad to hear that Denman was able to offer you a £24 voucher as a gesture of goodwill, even though the brushes were not purchased directly from us. We always strive to provide excellent customer service and support our customers as best we can. In the future, if you encounter any issues with a product purchased from a retailer, it may be worth reaching out to the store manager directly to see if they can assist you with a refund or exchange. “I had the classic black brush with clear bristles (which broke) & chose the blue one with black bristles for a change. Are the black bristles harder & sharper or is it because the brush is new? Will they soften over time?”

Hi there, thanks for sharing your thoughts about your new brush - we appreciate it! Over time the nylon in the pins does soften and become more flexible. Within a couple of weeks, your scalp will adjust to how the new brush feels. The extra stimulation might feel a little uncomfortable although some people love it. In the long run, it's really good for your scalp as it encourages blood flow and new growth. I hope this helps! “Ever since I began my career in hair I have always used Denman brushes! They are by far the best for all hair textures but the majority of my clients are black and brown women and the brushes glide through their hair they straighten them beautifully they smooth them out beautifully and I'm just grateful that your company exists Thank you so much for being consistent and your products and delivering every single time during my usage of them!”
