“All items are great, strong and durable bristles which glide through my hair; helps with knots, highly reccomend the curl comb too. Separates hair well enough for individual curls to dry and bounce.”

“The brush was for my son, so it is a bit tricky to reveiw. He seems to like it and uses it on his scalp. I like the size and weight.”

“I was really excited for this brush. My daughter has really thick curly hair. Unfortunately, the brush kept falling apart as I brushed her hair. I had to constantly stop to put it back together. Some of the bristles bended. I can see this brush being excellent for someone with fine hair. It was just not a fit for my daughter's hair. I am not sure if Denman carries one specifically made for thick curly hair?”

Hi Destynee, Thanks for sharing your review, I am sorry that you find the new brush very hard. We hear that from time to time when customers are replacing their old brush. The bristles soften over time and getting a new brush is kind of like getting new shoes - it takes a while to break it in. While it might feel a little uncomfortable, it's actually really good for your scalp because it stimulates blood flow and encourages new growth. Thanks again for sharing you review, have a great day! “Great quality, sturdy, and a really good looking brush. I've looked for years for a brush that could get through my thick hair all the way down to my scalp and I'm so happy I found this brush. I even got one of the round detangling brushes and didn't have high hopes when I got it. I judged a book by its cover and it shocked me how well it did. It takes a few passes to get through my tangles but it works like a charm. So well in fact, I ordered a second one. I love both my brushes and I would recommend them to anyone.”
