“It’s a nice brush if you want to a do a smooth ponytail without any hair coming out….but at the same time your scalp hurts when you brush, as the bristles feel quite harsh on your scalp….people with sensitive scalp shouldn’t be using it….!!!!!!”

“I bought my first Denman brush a year ago and fell in love with it. I still have it and decided to order another one for me and and 1 for my daughter-in-law because she had thick long hair like me. I was disappointed for 2 reasons. 1) they changed the quality of the brush. The new one doesn't touch my old one 2) First time using it I noticed a bristle missing already. Very disappointed in whatever you guys changed. This is why I gave it a 4 out of 5.”

Hi Irene, thank you for taking your time to review your new brush. From your images I can confirm that your old brush is our D90L detangler and your new brush is our D38 paddle brush, these are indeed different brushes. I can also confirm that the missing pin in your new D38 brush is an air hole designed to add comfort to when styling. I hope this helps explain and that you will love your new brush.
