“My daughter and I will only use Denman brushes and have done so for years. They retain their quality even after many, many uses and have a brush perfect for every style. My daughter loves the D90L Tangle Tamer brushes best and I favour the D38 Power Paddle, but we have other finishing brushes that are equally great. You might find cheaper brands that look similar.. but they wont stand the test of time and, so, are a false economy.”

“Gets tangles out a treat. Is very soft on my scar too, where I had my brain tumour removed, which is where it gets tangled. Would recommend Denman totally without a doubt”

“This is the style of brush I always search for and rarely find. It offers a good quality bristle which is firm without being harsh and what I particularly like is the cushion finish which enables you to put pressure on the stroke with the confidence that it will act as a massage for the dog. My dogs love these brushes and I would recommend them to all owners of medium coated dogs. I have setters which I breed and show and have used Denman brushes for a number of years now and would not swap to anything else”

“While I have loved my D3 Gold Crown Original Styler 7 Row, which has handled my very thick, medium length and wavy hair better than any other brush, I was disappointed in my recently-purchased D90L Rainbow of Hope Tangle Tamer Ultra. While billed as being for thick and wavy hair, it barely penetrated the first layer. I will say that I'd gotten the same brush for a niece with thick but finer hair, and she loves it.”

“Not sure you want me to write a review. What a disappointment my new brushes are! My old nine row was solid, had heft, and a discreetly embossed nameplate on the matte finished handle. The new one screams cheap with its glossy plastic and huge glaringly gold letters on the lightweight body. So sad to see a brand de-valued this way.”
