“I really like this brush simply because it helps all of my hair to curl the same. Sometimes I have half wavy half curly hair, and this brush helps me to make it all look uniform. My hair is still pretty frizzy after using it, but that's probably more the products I use and the fact that my hair is ALWAYS frizzy. Also I've only used the brush a handful of times and one of the bristles is already bent. I don't know how it happened, but for me the purchase was still worth it simply for all my hair to curl the same. I have 3a-3bish hair that is medium thickness and length. I plan to grow my hair out longer so I decided to go with the 9 row instead of the 7 row, plus if I need to I can always remove some rows. I've only ever used the brush right after the shower with my hair wet. I don't recommend this to be a detangling brush, I personally detangle my hair in the shower with a comb before using this brush. It sometimes pulls at the very ends of my hair but that could be because I need a trim and have some dead ends that tangle easily. Sorry for the long review but I wanted to get out everything I thought about the brush, thank you for reading.”

“I bought the D3 Original Styler 7 row Kyoto Cherry Blossom brush. I have fine-medium density, low porosity hair with wave and curl patterns between 2B, 2C, and 3A. The brush is STURDY. It has been easy to brush it through my hair. The brush is beautiful! I’m still learning how to style my hair with it, but my wavy-curls have been more defined since using it!”

“This brush is great. My son has very long hair - almost to his waist, and it is quite fine in texture but thick and it tangles easily. This is the best brush we've tried so far, virtually no pulling or breaking. Going to buy another one for my daughter.”

“I purchased the yellow Denman for Blowdrying and it literally fell apart during my first blowdry. Extremely dissatisfied. I’ve been using Denman brushes for years but for the past two years the quality has not been the same. Recently even when I’ve purchased them from Sallys beauty supply they fell apart after one use. I’m currently trying to find an alternative to the Denman.”
