“I am very happy with my Denman brushes. I love the mini! My only disappointment is that it had been awhile since my last purchase, because my old Denman brush lasted so long; and, the new one is a different type of plastic handle. I truly hope it last just as long? Overall, I have been very satisfied with Denman brushes for over 30 years.”

“I’m ok with the brushes that you guys sent me but the red part burns off on the hair . I’m gonna go back and purchase another paddle brush . They last longer for me . Thank you . “The wbrush seems nice, but it came out of the box and was scratched and dented. It honestly looked like a return, I needed it and it didn’t look used, just in rough shape so I kept it. Would have returned it if I hadn’t needed it immediately.”

“I wish you would consider selling your D3, D4, D14 & D31 brush components separately. Or selling replacement parts - pins, rubber brush heads, and handles. I am a second generation Denman consumer (I grew up using one of my father's Denman brushes which he likely purchased after first being introduced to your products in the 70’s by renowned Swedish stylist Björn Axén, my mother's cousin.) I have 3 Denman's in my collection. I have had them for probably more than 20 years. I love them. In that time my brush heads & pins have aged, broken, and deteriorated. However, the handles are still going strong. About 10 years ago, when one of my brushes pins broke, I tried to get a single row replacement. When I called the company back then I was told I wasn't able to replace any portion of the brush and would have to purchase an entirely new brush. What would I then do with the old one? Back then, throw it in the garbage to end up in the landfill (would still happen today). To avoid that I continued to use my brush broken pins and all. Fast forward to today. My 2 D3 brushes are now unusable because the rubber of the brush heads are cracking and crumbling with age and have more than a few pins missing. Upon searching through your website I can see you still don’t sell replacement parts. So, I broke down and ordered 2 new brushes. Now what do I do with my old brush handles? In my search of your website and Instagram I can see you are making efforts to reduce plastic and start recycling but you give no information about how to recycle your brushes, what kind of plastic, OR what parts are even recyclable. (I didn’t get a mailer to return my old brush for recycling.) We know only a small portion of plastics ever get recycled, so I am asking you to again to allow your customers to buy only the portions of products they need. I feel you are missing a large opportunity for creativity and relationship building with your repeat loyal clientele in addition to having a smaller footprint directly impacting the environment. Thank you!”

Hi Tracy, Thanks for your review! We do sell replacement brush pads for our D3 and D4 brushes via our office in Burlington. They cost $7.50 including shipping. To order one please call 781 365 2040. We hit a roadblock adding them to the website but hope to have them on there soon as well! We have a blog post all about how to recycle your Denman on our website, but it could be easier to find!
